Highly Recommended: A Perfect Mid-Term Stay in Takapuna
We spent six months in this beautiful townhouse and truly felt at home.
The Home & Amenities
The townhouse features a convenient, open-plan layout where the living room, kitchen, and dining area are combined into one social space. The beds were comfortable, and having a fully equipped kitchen made it easy to live a normal routine for six months. A major plus was the internal access garage, which kept us completely dry when loading the car on rainy days
Location & Views
The location on the North Shore is hard to beat. It is a brief walk to the beach and the vibrant Takapuna town center. While the location is very central, the rooms at the backside of the house are remarkably quiet, providing a peaceful retreat. Additionally, the internal access garage was a huge benefit, allowing us to stay completely dry when getting in and out of the car on rainy days. The entire complex, including the gardens and driveway, is meticulously maintained, clean, and tidy.
One of the best features of this home is the amazing ocean view from inside the house. We loved being able to watch the cruise ships pass by from the comfort of the living area and the master bed room —it was a constant highlight of our stay.
Management & Maintenance
The property manager, Abbie, was hands-down the best host we’ve ever had. She was professional, personal, and maintained smooth communication throughout our six months, always respecting our privacy.
Overall: We had a wonderful time and would absolutely return. It’s a gem of a property for anyone needing a high-quality temporary home.
