Five weeks that became the summer of our livesWe stayed with Shane and Eungjung for five weeks.They went above and beyond in every way that mattered. Not in a performative, checking-a-box way, but in the small, thoughtful, genuine ways that make you feel truly welcomed and looked after. Whatever we needed, they anticipated it. Whatever we asked, they made easy.But what we'll actually remember is the living we did there. Evening fires. S'mores. Long, unhurried afternoons collecting rocks with our little one! The kind of simple, unstructured days that children remember forever and that adults forget are possible until they find themselves in a place that allows for them.If you're deciding whether to book: don't overthink it. Shane and Eungjung are exceptional hosts, and this cottage gave our family a summer we'll be talking about for years.Thank you both, sincerely. We hope to be back.
