This was the perfect accommodation for my sister and I as we visited our childhood friends that we had not seen in 55 years. We grew up in Glen Allen and everywhere we wanted to visit was just minutes away. We loved this property and the owner was so responsive and accommodating.

Simple home for a short getaway

Perfect little home in a great location. We only stayed a couple days and the home had what we needed for our short stay. My 2 kids loved the big backyard.

This house was exactly as depicted and perfect for our stay. We attended a wedding reception at The Virginia Cliffe Inn next door, so the location was perfect! Literally couldn't have been closer unless we stayed at the Inn itself. We were able to park at the house and walk across a bridge cut through to the reception. The house itself was cozy and provided everything we needed. I personally slept in the bedroom near the bathroom and the bed was very comfortable.Check in and check out was a breeze. We arrived late (after midnight), and were able to easily access the house and check ourselves in. I highly recommend this location, especially if you are attending an event at either of the adjoining event spaces.

Great home and location

The home was clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting on the porch morning and evening. Its location is near major roads but away from the city. A Dollar General store is located a few 100 yards away that supplied all our grocery needs.

The house was very charming, the property is beautiful and the bed was great. The kitchen was incomplete. There was very little useful things to make a meal like a real house. I will stay again but knowing how insufficient the kitchen is would have been nice to know ahead of time.

Just Like Old Times

We loved it. The house and decor were beautiful. The house reminded me of when I was growing up. It was very comfortable and quiet. All the rooms were decorated like they were from a time gone by. It was amazing. The house is set back amongst some trees and is like being on a farm. So pretty. The kitchen is not a chefs kitchen. But still perfect for toast and coffee, and some baking. Places to eat are very close by. We had a great time and would stay here again, Thanks
