About this property
Bills Place - Anglesea
Bills Place is our beautiful newly renovated home nestled in the heart of Anglesea. It has so much character yet modern, fresh and very inviting! We've thought of everything from two living areas, children's books & toys, fire pit, two outdoors areas and a great outdoor shower after a busy day at the beach! The open fireplace is perfect for those winter nights and there is even a little study for those that work from home tucked away through a glass door. Our home really is a delight.
Situated on a quiet avenue where you often only hear the birds and wildlife pass you by. You can easily walk into Anglesea town or only a stones throw you can enjoy the Anglesea golf club for a spot of golf, kangaroo watching or enjoy the restaurant for food and beverages. If you prefer to stay home the large deck at the front of the home is ideal for morning coffees whilst the back garden is great for entertaining with a large area for kids to burn off some energy.
The home itself is set up perfectly for families or couples, two living areas really gives everyone space they need with the 2nd living area packed with books, games and toys for the children. We have porta cots, highchair so you can travel with less!
The lovely indoor wood fireplace and firepit is BYO wood please.
The home configuration is as follows:
x1 queen
x1 queen
x1 bunkbed (single beds)
x1 family bathroom with shower and toilet
x1 seperate toilet
x1 laundry
x2 living
All linen and towels are included to ensure your stay is hassle free!
We really do hope you love Bills Place as much as us and we can't wait to host you.

Location:
The lower end of Russell Ave has the entrance to the Kuarka Dorla Nature Reserve. This bushy walking track takes you down to the Anglesea River, right next to the where the Great Ocean Road crosses it. This is about a 10/15 minute walk. From the Great Ocean Road, its about another 15 minute walk along the river (all on walking track along the river) to the river mouth and beach (and the kids playground). So walking time to the beach is about 30 mins, or five mins by car.
Similarly walking to the Anglesea shopping strip is about 30 mins through Kuarka Dorla but only five mins by car. The shops have lots of take away places, as well as bakeries and an IGA.
From Murray Street (one street down from Russell Ave and accessible from Kuarka Dorla walking track), if you turn left and follow the hill up and over, you will get to Coogoorah Park. This takes about 15 mins on foot (but warning, the hill to get over is a steep one if you are doing it on foot). Coogoorah Park has the most amazing playground, that is a recently renovated ship inspired by the ‘Inverlochy’ that is such a favourite with kids. This park also has some picturesque BBQ spots. The park is also a wetlands for birds and is full of board walks and walking tracks that are so special to explore.
Also, a short five minute walk from our place is the Anglesea Heath. This is a vast bushland that is truly beautiful to walk in, even if you only do a short walk in to it you will be blown away by its beauty. There are also lots of longer day-walks you can do in it or mountain biking.
Please note we take a Pre-Authorization Bond of $500 24hrs before you check-out, this is held in your bank account and not taken out. Once the property is checked for damage or missing items the bond will be release 7 days after check-out.
