Come to the private cottage with garden ambience, but only 4 minutes from Kerikeri Township. This fully self contained 3 bedroom cottage is situated on a very private 1.5 acres of garden and orchard. There is Fibre internet. And only a short walk to a popular Cafe. There is a fully shaded veranda with a BBQ that overlooks the grounds. The cottage is well maintained and in winter you can enjoy the comfort of a log fire, with firewood supplied. The cottage is well placed for you to enjoy Kerikeri and the lovely Bay of Islands. And if you enjoy mountain biking, it is situated between Waitangi Mountain Bike park and Whitehills.

Amongst the orchards

2 nights here with nearly everything we needed. House big enough for family of 5. Main bed softer than I'm used to but still slept well. Road noise could be heard, possibly partly due to extra traffic while SH1 closed for repairs. But it didn't affect our enjoyment or sleep. Laundry only has a washing machine, no dryer for rainy days. We loved the short walk to Rainbow Falls. I would have liked more info about Keri Keri and northland available. eg places to visit like historic sites, galleries, eateries, shops, etc.

Loved the stay

Beautiful surrounding gardens and orchard. Great to have mosquito screens on the windows at night. We were five adults staying. Only downfall was the internet was a week signal (can't have the TV on and multiple people using internet). Would definitely stay there again 🥰

We enjoyed Laurel and Steve's place. It was perfect for our family. The citrus trees were delicious.

We highly recommend Laurel and Steve's place for a family or for anyone really. We cannot wait for next stay in Kerikeri.

Northland escape

A great place, nestled amongst beautiful fruit trees that you could smell when you walk outside. Added bonus was the ability to enjoy some of the fruit.Place was suitable for us, 2 kids and 3 adults. Comfortable and close to Kerikeri centre

Ideal little spot

We loved our stay here! Communication with our host was effortless, the cottage is sweet and has lots of little bonuses for families (baby chair for kiddo, baby bath, bbq, etc), and we loved the outdoor space. The covered deck was great in the rain and our little one had the best time roaming around the orchard. The plums! It was perfect for our multi generational family getaway and we would definitely stay here again.

Lovely location

Thoroughly enjoyed our time, with plenty of space for 4 adults. Glad the outside deck is fully covered as it rained everyday. Didn't realise that there wasn't a washing machine, but managed without it anyway.

Tranquil, cozy and private

We stayed at Laurel Rose Cottage while on our Northland holiday. It was the perfect spot being so close to Kerikeri and central to other places we were visiting. We loved chilling out on the deck in the evening, wandering through the gorgeous garden and sampling oranges from the orchard while enjoying the company of native birds. The cottage had everything we needed and was super clean. We especially loved the unique furniture pieces and art throughout the cottage.

Loved the house

It was a great experience. Most of the time we are out. Single bathroom for 5 adults and a kid was a bit inconvenient . Otherwise we had nice time in the mornings. .

Lovely rural setting

We really enjoyed the peace and sense of outdoor space. No looking into neighbour's property here, just nature, mature gardens and more. Loved squeezing oranges too. Thanks, really enjoyed our stay.
