Beautiful in the decor, quaint setting right on the river. Walk out the back door, down the hill and your at the water. Nice view to the hills across the way. Located on a nice private road, right off the highway but the apple orchard you drive through keeps the road noise away. The owner/host lives next door and was extremely responsive when we needed a couple of things (ie. propane tank on BBQ was empty). Would have no problem rebooking again.

Perfect spot!

We had a great stay with Melinda. We were in town doing some work at Mission Ridge. The location was close to the ski area, clean, and spacious. Hosts were so gracious and kind, I will be back to ski with my kids this winter!

Idyllic Indeed

A retreat for the soul. Plenty of space, comfy beds, friendly neighbors, playful wildlife, beach access, responsive host, well-stocked kitchen. We'd have stayed a month if we could've.

Perfect, cozy home base for wonderful adventures. Beautiful, serene, clean. Watched loons dabble on the river while snuggled into lovingly homemade quilts after a hard day on the slopes.Super convenient to the shuttle to mission ridge

Spectacular back yard

This place is really amazing. Nestled in with cherry orchards, grouped in with a few houses. The house is very comfortable and feels spacious. The yard is just spectacular. Very well manicured with plants and a large lawn that ends in the Colombia river. The covered deck in the back makes it perfect to relax and take in the view.

Amazing

The property is stunning. We sat outside every morning on the porch with coffee watching the river. The host is exceptionally kind and generous. The modest house is clean, comfortable, and spacious. I would definitely come back and stay here again. We went to the Gorge for concerts. It’s an easy 45 drive to the show.

Would not rent this property

We ended up cancelling when we saw the condition inside of the property and the ground it sits on. The inside had not been cleaned at all. Filthy. Owner was agreeable to refunding our money.

The view was amazing. Slow moving river with mountain view. Although it was early spring the yard was lushes green and full of color. The kitchen had everything you would need. The beds are comfortable. The bathroom toilet seat warmer was an added touch.

Amazing Place

We loved our stay! Melinda is the best. The house is cozy but with plenty of space. We stayed at the house and went to concerts at the Gorge, which was perfect. Beautiful views of the river and a relaxing quiet area!

Relaxing respite.

The property was clean and spacious with a beautiful view of the river and a gorgeous back yard. We had everything we needed and Melinda was very friendly and helpful. She was a bit busy in the days leading up to our stay so I was a bit concerned about check in procedures but she was there to great us when we arrived.
