Beautiful little cottage, perfect for our family and convenient to everything. All kitchen gear was nice and clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would stay here again
The house had everything we needed and more down to games. The house was extremely clean and neighborhood was really quiet. This house was one of my favorites and I plan on returning to this location.

Thank you for the nice rating. We are glad you enjoyed your stay.
The house was clean, well-stocked, and absolutely as listed. It was just a short drive to the downtown and waterfront area of New Bern, and a great place to get away for the weekend as three old friends. Will definitely stay again!
One of the best vacation rentals ive ever stayed at!

Excellent House
We enjoyed staying at the High Street house! The house was perfect for our needs and very clean. Would certainly rent it again.
I have stayed in many properties over the years and this one was perfect. Spotless, well decorated, appliances were unbelievable, all beds and linens were comfortable, yard was nice and fenced in for our toddler grandson, I cannot come up with any issues.
Thank you so much for the use of your home. It was our pleasure to stay so close to downtown and shopping!

Great New Bern Stay
The house was in a very cute neighborhood 1 row back from the bay. The home was clean, spacious, and had all the amenities one would need for a great stay. We loved the outdoor patio, and the picnic table. The beds were very comfortable, and the bedrooms were bright and sunny with the shades opened. The kitchen had beautiful appliances, and fully stocked kitchen ware. We would definitely stay at High street again.
We were 4 women looking to move to the area and this location was near to everything, shopping and dining and the beautiful downtown! This home was gorgeous, comfortable and peaceful. We were surprised by a delivery of freshly made chocolate chip cookies! Fabulous. Would book again in a heartbeat!

Perfect mix of traditional and modern updates!
Quiet neighborhood that's an easy drive to attractions and shopping. Loved the older home feel with nice upgrades to the kitchen and baths. Comfy beds! Upstairs may be better suited to kids just because of sloped ceiling in bathroom. Downstairs bath was large and worked well for both bedrooms. Small touches like snacks and apples on the counter were so nice. Thank you!
I personally didn't stay here, but I had no complaints from my business partners who stayed here. They had troubles sleeping due to noises coming from a unit inside the home. Not sure what it was since I wasn't there, but it apparently was bad enough that one of them had to take a sleeping pill to finally sleep through the banging noise.

From the owner: "Thank you for the feedback. We will take a look at this and repair it as needed."
We rented this house to attend our granddaughter’s wedding. It was close to the Tryon Palace venue in the downtown area. We arrived at the house late. There were packaged snacks set out on the counter. Perfect for my husband, who had just flown into Raleigh and traveled 2 1/2 hours to New Bern. We two stayed in the front downstairs bedroom. The mattress was a dream. My sister stayed in the other downstairs bedroom. The next morning we made coffee with the Keurig pods that were supplied. We used the microwave to heat breakfast sandwiches brought to us by our kids. The kitchen appeared to have all the amenities needed to cook meals. We, however, had activities that included meals and only used the microwave to reheat. The bathrooms were well stocked with soap, shampoo and conditioner. The towels
