The location is extremely quiet and peaceful. The cottage is small but charming and very well furnished and equipped, even for a longer stay. The hosts are very kind, helpful and generous. It couldn't be any better.

We enjoyed meeting you and having you stay with us. All the best with the rest of your holiday. You were the best ever guests!
The little cabin was a perfect place to end the day as it was nice and quiet. The cottage had all necessity tools for cooking your own meal. It was clean and practical but a bit out of the way from Ganges which was a perfect restful place after a very busy day of hicking.

Rada and her husband were the very best! They were excellent communicators and took exceptional care of the cottage. We would love to have them visit again.
Diane and Jim's cabin was a wonderful place to spend our time on Salt Spring. The bedroom is very cozy, but do let them know if you have mobility issues because the stairs are steep. Location is very convenient and the hosts are welcoming and full of great tips to enjoy the island. Their puppy Mateo was definitely one of the highlights for us!

Hello Claudio and David,
It was pure delight to have you stay with us. Mattheo loved having you visit and so helpful with his puppy socialization. All the puppy cuddles.

This is a lovely little cabin surrounded by Arbutus trees and natural rock. It is right next to the owner's residence but privacy was excellent. The space was comfortable and offered a very peaceful outlook. I would visit again.
We loved our stay at South End Gem. The cottage is warm and cosy and has a an amazing huge window that looks out right into the forest. We saw deer every morning with our coffee, it was really special. Thanks Jim and Diane for your hospitality, we will deffo be back!
I had a wonderful stay at this beautiful little cabin in the woods. It was perfectly presented and had everything we needed.
We spent countless hours sitting at the stunning dining room window taking in the tranquil view. We were greeted warmly by the hosts and a local deer family on arrival, which made the place feel magical.
Perfect location to enjoy everything the island has to offer. We will definitely be back.
Incredible stay with incredible hosts and an incredible B&B
Jim and Diane were exceptionally hospitable, welcoming us at their charming B&B located on the south end of Salt Spring Island. The images on Vrbo simply cannot capture the true charm of the cabin - it is an extraordinary retreat, meticulously designed down to the smallest details, from the decor to the lighting, and even the kitchenette! The bed was super comfortable and we had restful sleeps, accompanied only by the sounds of nature.
Our hosts, Jim and Diane, were awesome, providing us with the privacy we desired, while also sharing valuable recommendations for hiking trails and other activities on the island - all of which turned out to be spot-on!
We can't wait to until we return to the cabin and would definitely recommend it to anyone seeking a B&B getaway on Salt Spring Island!
This cozy, open plan little cabin had everything needed for a perfect little getaway. Super comfortable, great basic kitchen with corner windows for lots of light and a view of the forest. The bird feeder in the window is more entertaining than anything on Netflix. I ended up coming down with a cold that kept me in bed for most of my stay. Couldn't have been happier! A strategic reading lamp, a comfy throw and I was ready to nestle in with the stack of books I'd brought. It was Heaven. The hosts are two of the loveliest people and even delivered homemade cheesecake when they saw that I was sick.
