What a special and well decorated place!!! Views were magnificent!!! We ate dinner every night there vs going out since the views were so amazing. We hated leaving but will be back. Everything was perfect and highly recommend.

Very clean, amazing views, great host. Nice touches of furnishings, so many options for comfortable seating outside. We appreciated the water and ice dispenser in the fridge, Sonos speakers and ceiling fans. Could not have been better.

Absolutely one of our favorite stays. The view is DROP-DEAD gorgeous, and the outdoor space is incredible. Between the sunken seating area, hot tub, dining area, multiple places to lounge and the upstairs deck, it was honestly difficult to make ourselves leave!We arrived with all kinds of plans for exploring Tortola and ended up spending much more time at the house than expected because it was so peaceful and relaxing. It gave us exactly the R&R we didn’t know we needed and truly felt like a home away from home.We loved the open-air living downstairs and having AC in the upstairs bedroom. Having a washer/dryer was also a huge plus during a longer trip. The house has so much Caribbean character, and those shutters are adorable.The owners were wonderful—very friendly, incredibly responsive, and quick to help with anything we needed throughout our stay.One helpful note for island travelers: the home, like most on the island, uses cistern water, so plan accordingly and pick up drinking water when you get groceries.We absolutely loved our stay and would come back in a heartbeat. If you’re looking for somewhere to truly unwind with an unforgettable view, this is it.

Super Relaxing

Everything was exactly as advertised! Ben was very responsive before and during our stay. The breezes were almost as amazing as the sunsets. Definitely worth a visit!

Everything was excellent! I would strongly suggest you get there during the daylight so you can see and experience the road, especially if you are not familiar with the steep Tortola roads. Part of the adventure! The place was so relaxing! Just so you know, the bathroom is on the second floor tho - in case that matters to you. Would do it again!

This place is AWESOME. Sunrise and Sunset from same property. Ben was a great host. Would highly recommend. Private beach was great! New 4 X 4 to get there or be prepared to hike uphill.

Beautiful views…

Location and views were amazing. Villa is tired and in need of repair and updating. Outdoor furniture was not very inviting to enjoy sunsets.The two closest beaches are gorgeous and worth the hike! Weather is always perfect.

Amazing honeymoon spot

We had a fabulous stay at the house. The beach was a short walk or drive (it’s steep) and it was an unexpected treasure. Note: the waves are a bit aggressive. The house had beach towels, beach chairs and a cooler to use. The hot tub was a great way to end the evening. We used Island Time for water taxi, car rental and powerboat rental. They were great to work with. We would absolutely stay here again!

Absolutely fantastic

This property was simply fantastic. The views were to die for and the space was so spacious for us. We came for our honeymoon and had a fabulous trip to Tortola! Would recommend a 4 wheel drive car as the hills are pretty steep leading to the property. We loved the Vrbo so much we even got groceries to spend the afternoon and evening at the property. Would not hesitate to book this place again. Incredible.

Magnificent property!

This is a beautiful property, magnificent ocean views and sounds. The house is open to the environment so visitors hear the ocean waves all night long. There is nearby ocean beach access that is gorgeous. As is typical for Tortola, mosquitoes and gnats are present so be sure to bring long-acting insect repellant. Thanks to Ben for saving us from our failed cell phone service when we arrived.

Perfect Getaway!

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The views from this house are incredible from every angle. The owner was very responsive and super helpful with recommendations. The home had everything we needed and the air conditioning felt amazing in the bedroom when it was time to crash for the day! The walk to Rogues Bay was so worth the 5-10 minutes downhill as it was actually my favorite beach on the island and basically private. A huge bonus was the view from the shower! Incredible!!! We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

What a find!!! My husband and I researched many islands and many homes. We are so thankful we found this home. Ben and Jessica were amazing hosts. Home was as described, had everything we needed, plenty of towels, comfy bed. Amazing views. Love, love. Love. Also, the little things,: the icepack in the freezer - to go in cooler they provided, candles, great beachchairs, plenty of pots, pans, salt, pepper and other seasoning, oil. Just perfect. Beautiful cottage, beautiful view

The views are breathtaking and the cottage is lovely. I appreciated the decor and the general vibe of the cottage. The patio/decks with lighting, hammock and outdoor sofas are amazing. Ben was welcoming and took care of what we needed. My favorite was the private beach you can walk to from the cottage. The privacy and beauty of the beach was incredible. We were challenged by the roads on Tortola, as getting to other parts of the island require driving windy and steep roads. Ben had an excellent recommendation for a local rental SUV company, Paradise Jeeps, that met us at the airport. We also appreciated Ben’s really good recommendations for local restaurants.

Delving into Nature

The property was beautiful and a place out of dreams. The host was very welcoming and attention, and helpful if we ran into any problems. It was great having views from both sides of the house, and getting to see two different coves and islands. The open-ness of the space was inviting but private, and the indoor/outdoor vibe made you feel like you were getting in touch with nature. We loved hanging out on the deck area with the tub and lounging chairs. The kitchen was stocked with great basics, so we were able to cook all our meals in the house. The bbq was also a great addition. The AC upstairs was also very appreciated in the evenings. We spent as much time as we could at the treehouse and hope to return one day. Make sure to rent a car / vehicle to navigate the natural terrain to the treehouse and nearby beaches.

Didn’t have a passport

Was ignored once I told the owner I didn’t have my passport he took the 700 and haven’t heard from him since

We were only informed that this guest didnt have a passport on the actual day of arrival. We had been in communication several days previously about the requirements for entering the BVI including the necessity to complete the BVI Gateway forms online and we provided information and all the necessary links. If he had started the process he would have realised that a passport was essential. It never occurred to us that anyone would attempt to travel to a foreign country without a passport. We understand that travelling is difficult during the pandemic and things can go wrong and we always try to assist guests when they do but in this instance we could do nothing to help as there is no way to enter the British Virgin Islands without a passport. The guest has suggested we ignored him but in fact I did reach out to him immediately when he informed me of the issue but he never responded to my message (in the VRBO booking communications thread ours is the last message) and in fact we never heard from him until this review. We feel it is totally unjustified to leave a negative review when the guest didnt even make it to the property due their own lack of planning. Our obligation is to provide guests with accommodation which is accurately described and well presented and we always go out of our way to answer questions and give assistance and advice when we can - we certainly did in this case. The cancellation policy is very clear and the terms are reasonable so in this instance such a review is inappropriate.
