A wonderful stay! We only wish we could have stayed longer!
We loved laying out on the rocks at night looking at the stars and then sitting on the dock in the morning drinking our coffee.
So peaceful!
Gorgeous location and so peaceful. It’s exactly what my husband and I wanted for a 4 day getaway. Owners are onsite and are incredibly friendly. They’re there if you need anything but allow you privacy. Cottage is very clean and has everything needed. Loved having access to the kayak and firewood. Hope to come back!
The house was ready for us when we arrived. There were two kayaks and one big canoe we could use any time. The area is very quiet, even though there are many cottages around. The hosts are very cultured and discreet.
A wonderful little getaway for a nights stop over whilst travelling. Spotlessly clean, amazingly quiet and stunning scenery. Just beautiful! Just what the Doctor ordered after a long slog on the roads. If I had to make a similar journey I would be straight back to stay. Couldn’t fault it. The host was brilliant and very quick to respond.
Absolutely beautiful property to stay at. The view from the fire pit is unbelievable. The host is quick to respond to any questions I had. The cottage itself is a nice updated little place to enjoy the beautiful scenery surrounding you. If you enjoy fires and water side scenery this is a great place to stay.
We really enjoyed staying at this little cabin. Beautiful views. Feels off the beaten path but also close enough to towns and the 400 to also feel connected. Property is across the driveway from the owners house but has unobstructed views of the water. 2 bedrooms, bathroom and a small kitchen, so it is small, but we loved the place.
Great, quiet location with gorgeous views of the river. Fantastic hosts, perfect communication. The cottage is newly renovated. The bedrooms are spacious each with their own TV and Blue-ray player. The kitchenette is small but complete with everything one needs, but there is no living room. There is a nice deck with a propane bbq as well. Overall we had a great time.
Great communication with host. Nice property. Not as private as we had thought. The host's house is right next to the cottage with little in the way of outdoor privacy. Fire pit area has incredible view, but is right below the owner's house. We personally do not like the feeling of "sharing" a property on a vacation and prefer more private space. Some people may prefer to have owners nice and close for any help or concerns...

The kitchen was so small no stove. There was no counter space so you had to put hot plate on table so there goes your table I
have never seen such a small shower Two
TVs but internet was nil says pet friendly that's just to change you more There house is 500 ft away. It was a glorified bunkie
The property here is lovely, peaceful, clean and relaxing. But what makes it special is the close proximity to the Host and her Family. The Host and her Family are caring, friendly and welcoming. They are also very good in their communication with their guests. The cabin is modest in terms of its size but it's absolutely beautiful with regard to its warmth, charm, atmosphere and cleanliness. It is a perfect retreat for two people. My husband and I loved our stay here. We are especially grateful that our time at the cabin included our dog. When you stay at this cabin you are invited to feel like you are part of a family. That is what makes this place so special and unique. Thank you Stephanie.
