Disliked: Location, listing accuracy
This property was very nice and clean. The owner was accommodating and the check in process was easy. My only concern is that there was a lot of foot activity at night around the abandon houses that are in the neighborhood which raised safety concerns for me and my friend.

The home looked very nice on the website, however, my family didnt stay due to the disappointing view of the neighborhood. Many homes were boarded up, two houses down from the property was a burned out home. The neighborhood just looked very run down.

Great Get Away!!
The house was in perfect shape. Very accommodating! Host was very helpful and very polite! The neighborhood wasn't top notch, but other than that, this was a perfect stay!!!!!
The host has the best stocked home we have visited. Communication was excellent and beds were comfortable. We loved the decor and furnishings in the house. It was rainy for part of the time we were there, so we didn’t get the chance to enjoy the back patio and yard.
The home and management team were wonderful. This was an excellent home to stay in while in Vicksburg. The owner was phenomenal and made sure we had everything needed for our stay. The home was beautiful and very clean. From check-in until check-out everything was wonderful.

This review focuses not on the property itself, but the area it which it is located. At a basic levellooking at a crime rate map of Vicksburg there is in general quite a bit of crime. Additionally, thearea where the rental property is located is in the middle of one of the worst crime areas in acity already known for limited control of crime. As we were looking at the property from thedriveway, two different individuals approached us. Each were neighborhood residents and eachtold us the high risk of shootings in the area. They disagreed on specific numbers but neitherproduced any sense of security. In addition to the reported crime rate, the appearance of the neighborhood was unsettling. Theroof was caved in on one house. Another was boarded up. Another had an excess amount trash, specifically clothing in the front yard. Although the nature of each house varied, the patternsdescribed repeated themselves up and down the street. As Seniors we felt nervous andconcerned. We did not go into the house or stay, even though the house looked fine. Evolve didnot give us a refund and the owner did not respond to a phone call or an email. We wouldsuggest that any potential renters get a view of the neighborhood before choosing to stay
