The location is secluded, set amid towering trees and a sprawling green lawn, but it’s close enough to Ruidoso that you can take advantage of the restaurants, entertainment, and activities available there. When you enter Eagle Creek Retreat you’ll pass through iron gates that give the feel of a private country club created just for you and your guests.

Eagle Creek Retreat includes both a main house and a large guesthouse with a living room, kitchen, two bathrooms and two bedrooms. Wood-burning fireplaces in both houses keep everyone comfortable and supplement the central heating. The main house also has central air-conditioning and the guesthouse has ceiling fans. Open the windows and let the cool mountain breezes keep everyone cool night and day.

There’s plenty to do at Eagle Creek Retreat. For starters, there’s a huge patio and hot tub pavilion where you and your group can enjoy the great outdoors. You also have horseshoe pits and a putting green where you can sharpen your skills for the course.

When you walk into the front door of Eagle Creek Retreat, you’ll be met by a spacious living room with vaulted ceilings and comfortable leather L-shaped couch and armchair. You’ll love gathering here with your group to watch a roaring fire in the stone fireplace. You have a flat-screen TV with cable and DVD player too. After a day of hiking, biking, or fishing, it will feel great to settle into this warm, welcoming room to watch a favorite movie. You also have free Wi-Fi within Eagle Creek Retreat so any gamers in your group can keep up with their challenges and you can send photos of your vacation to friends.

There’s another fireplace and beautiful large family room next to the kitchen in the main house. These spacious gathering places are one of the reasons Eagle Creek Retreat is so perfect for a large family gathering.

Prepare to face some hearty appetites while at Eagle Creek Retreat. The mountains have a way of making everyone famished by mealtime. Fortunately, you have a huge kitchen outfitted with all the pans, pots, utensils, and serving ware you need to feed your hungry brood. Just pick up ingredients at a Ruidoso grocery and you’ll be all set. Cooking is a pleasure in this beautiful kitchen with dual wall ovens, huge stove, large side-by-side refrigerator with water and ice dispenser, and expansive granite-topped prep areas. You also have a gas grill out on the patio that’s perfect for preparing steaks and hamburgers.

There’s also a full kitchen in the guesthouse. It’s so handy to have this extra kitchen so close at hand.

You can serve your group at the elegant dining table off the living room. You also have seating at the breakfast bar in the kitchen and if your group wants to dine outdoors you have a huge patio to accommodate everyone.

If you want to dine out, there are 59 restaurants in the Ruidoso area serving everything from burgers and barbecue to Mexican dishes and crispy salads. You may also want to take in some live entertainment while you’re downtown in the village.

After a day of golfing, fishing, hiking, or visiting the interesting sites in and around Eagle Creek Retreat, you’ll be more than ready for a good night’s sleep. Your primary bedroom will be the perfect end to a perfect day. Climb into your king-sized bed and let the gentle stirring of the ceiling fan escort you off to dreamland. It won’t take long to fall asleep in this welcoming, quiet retreat.

When the first rays of sunshine slip through your bedroom windows, you’ll start thinking about a strong cup of coffee and a hearty breakfast. Head into your primary bath where you’ll find a shower/tub combination ready and waiting to get you started on your day. Before you know it, you’ll be sitting at the breakfast bar, chatting with family, and enjoying a cup of joe. Nothing tastes as great as the first cup of the day.

In addition to the primary bedroom, Eagle Creek Retreat has four other bedrooms within the main house, each of which is outfitted with a king-sized bed. Any one of these rooms will be a wonderful private space for your guests.

There are 3 bathrooms within the main house to handle your party. Plus, there are an additional two bathrooms in the guesthouse to meet the needs of the family or friends staying in the two bedrooms located there. You will find a half bath in the game house.

Altogether within the main house and the guesthouse there are five king-sized beds, one queen-sized bed, two sets of bunk beds, and three single sleeper sofas. Eagle Creek Retreat also has a laundry room with a front-loading washer and dryer. It’s a convenience that allows you to keep your family in clean clothes without having to visit a Laundromat.

Eagle Creek Retreat also has a game room where your family can challenge each other in all sorts of games. There’s also a wood-burning fireplace in this room for everyone's enjoyment.
