5 stars aren’t enough. Pictures from the listing are accurate - from arrival to departure exceeded all our expectations. This home is gorgeous, comfortable, and very conveniently located. The art collection and decor are Architectural Digest worthy. Weekend home-base for family of 7 adults gathering for a wedding in Westport. Alex was an excellent host with just the right communications. Thank you!

A nicely appointed vintage home located in a private setting. Clean and accurately described. Was a perfect place for my daughter who was getting married at the waveny house park in New Canaan, for her and her maid of honor, brides made and mothers of the bride and groom, to meet up before and after the wedding and the few girls who needed a place to stay and keep the bride company. The host was very responsive when needed.

Thank you for the wonderful review! We're so glad the home was a perfect fit for such a special occasion, and that it gave your daughter and her bridal party a comfortable, private space to gather before and after the wedding. It's great to hear the home was clean and accurately described, and that communication was easy throughout your stay. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Our family absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful historic home. From the moment we arrived, we could feel the charm and character in every detail, yet it was also so comfortable and perfectly equipped for a relaxing getaway. The beds were cozy, the home was spotless, and there was plenty of space for everyone to unwind. I truly felt like I was at home. Highly recommend this home to anyone looking for a stay that’s both full of history and modern comfort.

Lovely place for a weekend trip!

We stayed here for a wedding in the area and had the most wonderful experience! The home was clean, welcoming, warm, and beautiful! The owners provided a very helpful handbook that answered all of our questions and were super responsive and reached out to us on the day of our arrival! It was the perfect place to rest and relax in between wedding events and made our weekend so much easier and fun! Thank you for letting us stay at your beautiful home!

Lovely home with beautiful outside areas. It was very quiet and serene. Bed was comfortable, slept great! Host was very responsive to questions and accommodated our request to leave late to coincide with our daughter’s nap time. Would be a fantastic place to share with friends, lots of places to sit and enjoy time together. Plenty of TV’s, so no worry about wanting to watch different things. Would absolutely recommend staying here!

Hi Lauren, we're glad you found the home spacious, comfortable, and clean. That's always our goal! We followed up with the homeowner after reading your feedback, and they wanted to share the following:- We'll look into brightening the main downstairs rooms, perhaps adjusting lighting or updating our listing photos to accurately represent the current lighting conditions. Thanks for your valuable feedback

Very nice home , just as the pictures show . Nice outdoor space , yard and patio . Comfortable beds and plenty of indoor space . There was a grill on the porch for guests to use however there was a large bee or hornets nest and a lot of them flying around near it so we didn’t get to use that as we thought we would . Other than that we enjoyed our stay

Just perfect

This home was truly what we needed for a busy week with our kids. There is plenty of space and everything you need. Family dinners were just amazing in the dining room and movie/game night played out just right in the spacious living room. Many thanks to the owners who were very informative and available if needed. We can’t wait to rebook!

I wish I lived in this house!

I cannot possibly say enough great things about our stay here! The house itself was an absolute dream - from it just straight up being a perfect space to the attention to detail in the unique decorating to everything you could possibly need being readily on hand. I felt like everywhere I looked, my eyes were smiling and I would liken this house to walking onto a Wes Anderson film set. :) If you are considering staying here, all I can say is Nike Just Do It because I promise, you'll love your time spent here. Beau and Alex were wonderful hosts and very communicative and I'm deeply thankful for them to providing the space for our group to make many happy memories in.
