Enjoy a Japanese traditional house at Maroya
This is a house with beautiful wood grain that was built using traditional construction methods during the Taisho era
This is a valuable building where you can feel the history and culture of Enshu We look forward to receiving reservations from those who will cherish it and use it with great care to pass it on to the next generation / Although the property is exclusively rented please rest assured that the caretaker lives onsite
If you bring your own ingredients you can prepare simple meals in the kitchen
You can also try cooking rice in the hearth Please contact the caretaker if you would like to do so For catering please make a reservation in advance
There are no screen doors Insects may be a nuisance in the summer
We use a potbelly stove in the winter and electric fans and paper fans in the summer Enjoy t
