Great cabin stay for the young kids.

Everything was great. The lake was great for the most part but had some knuckleheads that didn’t bother anyone but left trash all over the beach.

Cabin was okay. Not well stocked with kitchen items, so we ate out mostly. Just clean enough to look okay. No pillow cases or extra bedding for the foldout couch. Pool was listed as year round but it is not heated and was not clean. It rained right before we got there, but they never cleaned the leaves out or anything the whole 5 days we were there. Hot tub was ice cold and full of leaves as well, so that was a big disappointment. Paddle boats were in the middle of the lake and weren’t able to be used. Mini golf was run down and old. Lots of the campers were rotting away in their spots. Definitely not what is shown online.

We paid for one week, we left after the 4th night cause the place had bed bugs, the tv did not work, the heat would only work in the on position. It was not clean.

Our host called before we arrived to ask our arrival time. Check in was supposed to be 1:00pm. We told her we would probably arrive around 2:30 pm. She explained that the reason for her call was that she was having a hard time getting them out.We arrived just before 3:00 pm to find that our cottage was not cleaned yet. The host switched us to cottage #4 instead of #5 that we had reserved. She didn’t show us inside the cottage she switched us to so I was not aware that there were differences in the two. Cottage #5 was much nicer than the one she switched us to, #4.The one we reserved had a separate bedroom with a TV, the bathroom was larger and the kitchen was nicer. The ceiling fan didn’t work in the one we stayed in.I have photos of both so you can see the differences. The one we got was a studio. We were not compensated for any of the changes.This is far from any “resort” I have ever seen!There broken down campers throughout this resort. The paddle boats that were advertised were broken and floating around the lake, not to be retrieved. The laundry room, if you could call it that, was pathetic. The bathhouse looked like something from a horror movie.We have photos to back up our claims and we feel we deserve a refund for this.I tried to upload photos from my phone with no success. I will be happy to provide any or all photos if there is any way possible.
