Everything was easy from access to property, to use of rented equipment, to access to host. Immediate response when we contacted the host, then found the info in the guide book that was provided. Beach access is a couple minutes walk to beauty. Awesome sunrises and sunsets. We would absolutely return!!

had issues with TVs, some maintenance issues, they were resolved (somewhat) but communication about when that was to happen was minimal, we were out for a bit and came back to worker, just a bit surprised we were not notified?

It was a beautiful location with beautiful views. The construction behind the unit was unexpected but since we woke up early and was busy during the day, it really didn't affect us.

The condo was clean and in a good location. Thanks to the owner for making this the only good part of our stay. We spent almost 2,000 for two nights including golf cart rental and were unable to enter any of the restaurants or use the golf course. This is a "South Seas" problem and pretty embarrassing to be told to leave a brand new restaurant because we did not have "wristbands". We were there for a wedding hosted by South Seas and will never stay there again because of their ridiculous policies towards VRBO rentals. We were forced to leave the resort just to get a drink at RC Otters where they actually accept cash and credit cards! South Seas is now considered a joke by all of us who stayed there and none of us will ever return.

The condo was very clean and comfortable for our family. It was 2 adults and 2 teenagers and we had plenty of room. The location was quiet. We would stay here again.

The condo was fine. No extras but sufficient. Clean, etc. The shower kept breaking and the location was OK except that we were told it was an easy walk to town; it was NOT by any stretch of the imagination. Pool was great. Beds were comfortable.

The location of this condo is amazing. In the morning you can look out your front door to view the sun rise and then in the evening you can look out the back door and see the sun set. The marina is right out your back door where we saw a

Clean unit, great view, a bit hard to find, South Seas is a big area, easy to get in to unit once located,communication was good, would be nice to advise that you will need to provide some basic products, i.e coffee tea etc. also there are places to eat quite close but we were not allowed to use them. Pool needed cleaning before we arrived, was cleaned second day after arriving.

As a self-catered rental, we provide initial essentials, but we realize it would be helpful to clearly advise guests about bringing personal kitchen items. We will update our welcome information to set this expectation better. Amenities & Pool We understand the disappointment regarding the nearby resort restaurants. Unfortunately, as a privately owned condo, guests are restricted by the Homeowners' Association from accessing some resort-managed amenities. We are clarifying this limitation further in our listing description. Finally, we are truly sorry about the condition of the pool upon your arrival. We are disappointed our maintenance schedule lapsed, and we appreciate you letting us know so we could have it cleaned the second day. The location was perfect, so close to beach and on marina. Could wake up, go on porch and listen and see manatees. The condo complex was quiet and everyone was kind. The laundry facilities were clean and easy to use. The pool was great. The condo itself was spotless and had everything we needed for a wonderful stay.i would book here again without hesitation!

We checked into our Captiva South Seas Marina Villa unit 704 the afternoon of Friday, October 24.Great! The 2 BR, 2 bath Villa 704 was certainly enough space for my wife and me (I enjoyed having my own bathroom when getting ready for the day). In fact, the unit would accommodate a family of 4 without issue. It’s conveniently located on the north end of the resort with a short walk to Sunset Beach, South Seas pool and South Seas restaurants. Everything in the unit appears to be recently fresh and remodeled including new kitchen appliances. The screened-in lanai overlooking the Marina was perfect for breakfast and relaxing in the evening. Also, the fact that it is located on the first level means only a short walk up a few stairs with luggage. The private pool was also fantastic; very clean, refreshing and welcoming. Unit 704 also provided beach towels for us! We give this unit 5 gold stars!

We were very happy with our stay. When we arrived the roomWas cleaned and they allowed us early access. We had a couple snags but they remedied them quickly. We found the property comfortable and had everything we needed. Our only complaint would be that the cleaning people came at 1015, check out was 11. We felt very rushed to get out, they were standing at the door. We had every intention to be out at 11 but 45 minutes early really rushed us.

Great place!

We were in town for a family wedding on Sanibel Island, which was a short drive from the unit. The property was very clean, had a great view of the marina, and it was within walking distance to the beach. We saw manatees and dolphins every day! We are a family of 5 with 3 adult children. There was plenty of room for all of us with the sofa bed. It was nice to sit in the covered patio and watch the water. There were no boats and a lot of construction going on due to all the hurricane damage. The noise was minimal. The kids utilized the beach gear voucher and 2 bikes, an umbrella, and a cooler with ice packs were delivered and ready to use upon arrival. The keypad made entry very easy. We would highly recommend this unit. Thank you for sharing your property with us. We really enjoyed our stay.

Nice but disappointing

The whole purpose of our trip was to enjoy South Seas resort, the pool, etc. Kids were excited as we haven’t been since the hurricane hit. I booked this property (we have stayed in marina villas before) only to find out with new ownership, amenities (i.e. using the pool) are not included with this listing. We tried to speak with anyone we could, pay for day passes to use the pool, etc. and no one was willing to help. I understand a portion of the responsibility falls on me for not having someone go through the entire rental agreement but the lack of customer service we experienced on top of disappointment soured the trip. We made this trip for the amenities. Had we known they weren’t included, we would have booked elsewhere. The place itself was great, but I want others to be aware that if you are hoping to utilize the pool, beach chairs, restaurants on South Seas, it’s not available here.
