From the owner:" We are planning to renovate and update the home as necessary and as the schedule allows. Steady upgrades & work to make this home better every quarter. Kitchen upgrades next, followed by bathroom upgrades after that"
Great place to stay on a nice mountain my family and dogs loved itMike was great and answered any questions we had will definitely book again in the future
Ideal location for section hiking of Appalachian trail
A nice property, with very responsive owners! It is a little sparse beyond the base necessities in the case of furniture and cooking utensils, but it has all you need.
Very clean and quaint property. Beautiful sunset skies. Dogs have plenty of space to stretch their legs on the gorgeous grass.

Nice Property
The Linden Family Home is very spacious with plenty of room for three couples to spread out. The beds were very comfortable. The grounds provided plenty of space for our two dogs.
This home is perfectly located in a beautiful wooded area and conveniently located to many wineries in the area. Large, spacious and comfortable. All amenities listed were available.
This house is perfect for a big group. The owner and neighbor were very friendly and location was great for visiting local caverns. Took about 20 mins to get to skyline caverns and 45 mins to get to Luray caverns. Front Royal town is about a 15 min drive to get supply's. House was a new listing and I did give the owner some feedback on improvements since he asked for them. Great stay and would stay again!
House was in a great location. Close to many wineries! Missing the love/care. Cleaning service needs to be replaced. Dog hair found on bedding & floors which got stirred up with ceiling fan on. Limited glassware. No hand soap, dish soap to be found which made washing dishes impossible. Other than that, the house was fine.

Great Location
Let’s start with the positives, the location is excellent, beautiful neighborhood, extremely close to wineries and vineyards, which is why we were there. Now for other stuff, the house needs a lot of updating, it quite obviously has been a rental for some time. There is damage to the rear door and front porch from a dog that chewed them badly, the downstairs bathroom fan sounds like a small engine plane, the microwave sounds like it’s about to explode, the walls and moldings have been bummed and scratched from years of use ( would really benefit from a new coat of paint), the upstairs bathroom sinks have no stopper and are delaminating so be careful with jewelry and small items, also the shower upstairs was moldy, the lawn was over grown when we arrived and was even worse when we left, this led to a lot of gnats and mosquitoes if you walked on the grass, the yard could also use a good cleaning there’s debris everywhere.
