For maintenance purposes, the hot tub is reserved exclusively for registered guests. Visitors are welcome, but hot tub use is not permitted.
Smoking permitted outdoor only. Ashtray available under the sink—kindly use them so no cigarette butts end up on the ground. No smoking in hot tub.

Lovely place to stay shame about the weather but that didn’t take away from the beauty of the place , just made us want to come back when it’s warmer . The cottage had everything you need and more and the host Julie was fantastic answered all our questions and was extremely accommodating.

Seaside oasis

The cottage is exactly as pictured and more! So beautiful and felt like a spa with the beautiful bathroom and outfoor jacuzzi. The entire cottage was thought out for space. Efficiency and comfort. The natural colors are bith bright yet soothing...and the beautiful decor were impeccably designed. We would recommend this for a relaxing and intimate stay!

Beautiful modern cottage

The property is very nice and was as pictured. The host was very communicative before and throughout our stay. It has a beautiful view and it was awesome hanging out in the hot tub. Perfect spot for a couple. Would definitely stay here again!

Cozy and beautiful getaway

This is a cozy and well-appointed getaway! We loved the decor and layout, beautiful bathroom and back deck with large hot tub. While it rained we enjoyed the games and puzzles while still taking in the amazing view. It has all the appliances and kitchen items you will need, and a very responsive host. There are many birds that visit the back yard and its very close to a lovely walking trail.

Pleasant but Quirky

This cottage is in amazing location, right on the waterfront. It’s close to walking trails and Parlee Beach too. We appreciated being able to bring our small dog with us as well. But it does need some updates. The water pressure is terrible. There’s virtually no hot water in the bathroom sink and the shower spray is very weak. Only one water using item can be run at a single time (e.g. dishwasher, sink taps, washing machine, toilet, shower) making it extremely inconvenient. The lighting is inadequate. There is no task lighting over any kitchen work area and not a single table lamp in the living room in order to read a book. There is no light in the large bedroom closet which is virtually impossible to use in the evening. There are no outdoor lights, this is a real safety issue as the stairs are difficult to navigate in the dark without railings. There are no available electrical outlets in the kitchen, not a single free outlet. The only free electrical outlet in the bathroom is down beside the toilet, a long ways from the vanity sink. While this cottage looks amazing in the pics, it needs at lot of practical upgrades. But Julie the host is very responsive and answers any query promptly. I hope Julie is able to make these changes we’ve suggested.

Hi Jill, Thank you for your feedback. Happy you were able to enjoy the location and with your pooch. I purchased the cottage a few months ago and have been doing some upgrades since to air out some of those quirks :) I appreciate your feedback and am planning on fixing these items (adding lights outside/inside, smoother plumbing and adding electric plugs). We do have a power bar in the kitchen, living room with outlets in the bedrooms as well. It’s a mini heater that heats the water on demand, for that reason, we reccommand using one appliance at a time. This home was built as a cottage and does come with some quirks as most cottage do. Although we do plan on getting a plumber to improve the water system and pressure. Most of our guests really enjoy the cottage, the pictures are as listed and it’s even prettier to experience the views in person. The guest that came after you with her small child did not want to leave, she said it was the perfect getaway. Thank you for your candid feedback, we are always looking to improve our guest experience, so your feedback is valuable to us.
