Unbelievable location - loved it! The condo is wonderful, and took me back to growing up in the Pacific Northwest before all the newcomers brought East coast expectations to the area. I must prefer this place.
Unit was comfortable for a family of 5 adults. The unit has a beautiful corner view of both beach and river. Good for relaxing and access to Olympic National Park.
What a trip back in time this was. Lots of original appliances still in fully working order and other wacky decor straight out of the 80's. We got such a kick out of it all! Honestly, we loved the vintage flair of this amazing little corner condo. Much time was spent on the wrap around porch and quick jaunts on the beach which was quickly accessible using adorable and very well maintained trails. The breeze was light which we assume is because the beach is sheltered by beautiful heavily wooded hills surrounding the river mouth and what a sensational view of the sunset!

When my husband and I first arrived to the unit the first thing I noticed was the musty smell of the unit, it was clean and neat so I just thought we could air it out unfortunately there's ants on the deck so we couldn't leave the sliding door open as the ants were entering in, the windows didn't open either. My husband went to the manager and told him of the ants but nothing was done. Our daughter arrived the next day and as we were leaving for dinner just down road there was a man wearing only shorts in the middle of the road yelling at us and wouldn't let us pass, we turned around and headed back to the condo and he ran after us screaming at us, we got to Hi-Tide parking lot and turned around he had parked his car Infront of the managers office and got in his car and gunned it straight at us, we thought he was going to hit us head on, he swerved at the last second and we sped out, there wasn't anyone else there except the manager was watching, I called 911 and reported the encounter. We lost him, the Sherriff kept us posted saying they had two previous encounters with him that day, said he was from Tacoma looking for his girlfriend that works as a housekeeper at Hi-Tide, he was taken into custody that evening on a psych hold but would be released on Monday. My husband spoke to the manager at Hi-Tide explained what happened and that we didn't feel safe there, as we were still very shook up, he responded ' you should just leave, we've never had any problems just go! We left

We're sorry Donna didn't have a better time at the home but her husband was verbally abusive towards our staff regarding an altercation they had with an individual who was not one of our guests and was not on or near our property.
