About this property
The Glass Kabinhaus: Unmatched Mountain Living
The Glass Kabinhaus, takes in breathtaking views at the peak of Mont Blanc, Quebec. We believe in balancing modern life by taking time to unplug from the daily hustle, and focus on our individual selves, our relationships, and the wonder of nature. This philosophy is reflected in our architectural design, elevated living in nature. Our chalet features a facade of windows that wrap around the structure, blending the interior with the surrounding nature.
Mid-century inspired, The Glass Kabinhaus seamlessly integrates with its natural surroundings in the Laurentians. Offering an ideal retreat for couples or families seeking serenity atop Mont Blanc, Quebec. A picturesque view of the Laurentians, including visibility to Tremblant Mountain.
Personally curated by the owners, the architecture embodies a unique lifestyle centered around self-discovery and fulfillment through a minimalist aesthetic. Expansive windows and thoughtful elevations flood the interior with natural light, echoing minimal mid-century, Scandinavian design principles. The restrained material palette emphasizes durability and integrity, allowing light and the surrounding landscape to become focal points of the residence.
The chalet’s interior is constructed entirely of cedar, minimizing environmental impact by avoiding VOC toxins in this home. Designed with environmental harmony in mind, the chalet reduces its ecological footprint while maximizing the guest experience. Inside, a natural, airy ambiance contrasts with the modern mid-century exterior, creating a harmonious romantic-Zen fusion.
The entrance to the living pavilion features continuous cedar flooring throughout that stretches into the main living space, opening to the panoramic uninterrupted views of the outdoors. Warm, locally sourced finishes include Douglas fir posts framing the walls and ceilings, a stone-crafted fireplace. Seamlessly extending the forest atmosphere indoors.
Open-concept living areas extend onto terrace decks with expansive mountain vistas. A central fireplace adds warmth and sophistication to the dining and living spaces, complemented by a practical kitchen featuring full-sized appliances.
Three tastefully designed bedrooms, each with en-suite bathrooms and nature-facing windows, offer privacy and tranquility. High-speed Wi-Fi available supporting productivity, making it an ideal sanctuary to enhance well-being and connection with nature.
The master bedroom elevates comfort with a king-size bed, open-concept washroom, and terrace deck.
Every detail at The Glass Kabinhaus has been meticulously crafted to create a peaceful sanctuary, embodying environmental consciousness and minimizing ecological impact.
