Great stay!

We had a wonderful stay for my birthday weekend. The host was truly amazing and available whenever needed, 10/10! I would recommend and will definitely be renting more of his properties. Thank you for a great weekend!! The house was big and spacious for my large family.

The lake was beautiful and easy access. The hot tub jets were not working which was a disappointment. There were no extra amenities provided like coffee filters, oil, etc so make sure you bring your own.

We were looking for a place where all of my family can stay with all the amenities we needed and 24 Hopkins cir was the place. It was perfect, everyone was able to have fun and rest.

This was a great house for the amount of people we had! The owner & property manager were very attentive. There was no heat downstairs and although they said the repair person was coming, no one ever came. They did supply space heaters. In general - the house could have been cleaner. The driveway, steps and walkway to door were clear of snow but we couldn't use the outside table - the space was not cleared. There was a misunderstanding and our reservation was cancelled. We didn't find this out until we got there - there was no issue other than the registration cards you need for your car was also cancelled. Apparently there was a problem with re-registering us and we never got the cards - which led to the Sheriff coming to our door threatening tickets and towing - neither of which happened - but still unsettling. The property manager was responsive to this issue as well. Be sure to bring any spices or baking sheets.Other than this - the location was good for where we needed to go - the water pressure was decent in the showers - the beds were comfy and we all had a great time!!!

Good mountain stay

Overall this get's a 3 out of 5 for me. Property needs some upkeep to make the stay better for the guests. Lots of damaged items and non-functioning things. Communication with property management was excellent and check-in process was smooth. If they invest a little more in upkeep of the property this could easily get 5 stars.

Review of Stay

The house was perfect for our friend trip to the mountains. The only thing that negatively impacted our stay was the condition of the hot tub. It was apparent that the hot tub has not been serviced. The water was cloudy, and there was a layer of green slime on the surfaces of the hot tub. Everything else about the house and property was absolutely great!

The home was big enough for our family of 12. Enough space for sleeping arrangements and for us to hang out. One of the rooms in the basement was very drafty since it must have held the hot tub at one time so it was a good thing that we brought a small portable heater with us and we found others in the home too. There were a few things that could have been cleaned better, furniture up kept, and general household & cleaning items that we expected to have on hand but overall we had a good time.

The best thing about our stay at this house was that the property manager responded timely and did his best to remedy the many, many issues we had during our stay. I'm not a nit-picker, but there were honestly too many issues to report in one post. The most concerning was the overwhelming musty odor that permeated the house, and was most noticeable in the basement. We quickly determined the cause when a torrential down pour occurred, and the basement bedroom flooded. There was a broken soffit outside the room that funneled water directly into the bedroom. No telling how long that issue existed, or if it has been repaired yet. This was just one of many issues that we encountered. The amenities were another hassle. The Towamencin Trails Development's rules concerning guest passes, in my opinion, are put into place to discourage renters from using the facilities. Nothing was easy.In summary, if you want to spend your vacation reporting issues to the property manager, this is the place for you. I'm not exaggerating - if anything, I've left a lot out.

The water intrusion following a downpour was traced to a loose soffit, which was promptly repaired the next day. As no further concerns were brought to our attention during your visit, we were surprised by the mention of “too many issues to name,” especially since only two were noted—both of which were addressed immediately. The Towamensing Trails guest pass policy is clearly outlined in the Evolve app and is managed by the community, outside of our control. We encourage guests to review the listing details to ensure the property aligns with their expectations.
