Beautiful home in a quiet neighborhood
Fantastic! A beautiful home in a beautiful neighborhood. I see complaints on here about the owners not responding to folks but its because her email is not the way to contact her...use her phone number and text her and she replies almost immediately. She was great, the house was great and the family and I all had a great time.
As advertised. Resident elk in the area were a bonus

Beautiful home and neighborhood. Definitely perfect for a large family. We had almost every meal on the back deck and enjoyed being in the peaceful pines. We would not hesitate to visit again. Our only complaint would be that the house could be better stocked. There were no trash bags, paper towels, sponges, and there was only one dishtowel.

Mountain Home Vacation
My family had a great time in Flagstaff. On the other hand, we were very disappointed with the rental. We called Sara, who was supposed to be the property manager twice. She never returned our calls. The second day, we noticed water dripping from the second floor into the master bathroom. We called and left a message about our concerns with possible damage. We never received a call back. We then emailed Evolve, the booking company and we immediately receive a form e-mail back that they are sorry we are having problems and we should contact the property manager. Obviously they never read our email. We resorted to not using the bathroom above the master suite in order to avoid future water damage. It is sad that people do not care about their customers enough to do the job they are being paid for.
This property has potential to be a 4 or 5 star property but is definitely not there yet. The thing we loved most about this property was the neighborhood. It is beautiful, woodsy, quiet and perfect for walks and/or biking. The house itself is nice with lots of room. It has two tables (kitchen and dining) which was great for eating and playing games. The living room is large but has limited furniture and only seats 4 (very inconvenient). The bedrooms are large but the upstairs does not have a separate air unit so it was uncomfortable and warm. There is only one fan in the house which is in the loft. There were no other ceiling fans or even standing fans. We would have loved to open the windows in one of the rooms for air but there was a note that the window was broken. We also were limited to one shower because there is a leak in the upstairs bathroom shower. We were never notified of this even though the leak was reported by a prior renter 6 weeks before our stay. We also could not use one of the rooms upstairs because we walked into a bed full of dead and live ants. More ants continued to show up every day so we could not use this bedroom. The house was also not very clean. The floors and rugs were dirty, beds had crumbs and hair, everything was dusty, dirty dishes in cabinets, dirty grill and outdoor furniture. There is potential for this house and the neighborhood is amazing but it definitely needs some maintenance and better house cleaners.
