We loved this place. The view from the deck doesn’t get any better. Remote woods location without being too far from town. Host communication was also excellent.

The cabin was beautiful. View was beautiful. Bathrooms were not very clean, rugs dirty, hair wads on drains. Did not use upstairs bathroom because of this.Biggest issue that was never mentioned was the location and road or trail to it. The driveway was a long very steep winding dirt gravel ramp. It was so steep our car could not make it back up. After many try’s, about 10, getting a running start and spinning out partially up, then backing back down the steep ramp without going over the edge, and starting over, we finally got up. Very scary situation. After finally getting out after a day we parked the car at the top and had to hike up every time we wanted to go out. We are older and not in the best shape so this was a huge issue, especially when we had to hike all of our gear and luggage on the last day. Because of this we were confined to the cabin not able to do much around the area. We have friends in Cherokee Village that we came to see and were only able to spend one day with them.It should be noted that you need a 4 wheel drive/truck to get in and out. A regular car cannot make this trip!As I mentioned the cabin was beautiful, but it is back in a terrible area. Neighbors around on the way up there on the back dirt gravel incline for about 3 miles is VERY questionable. We did not feel safe here at all. I worried all night about our car being out of site at the top of the cliff. Not to mention all the Pitbull dogs roaming around (I’m sure to guard the questionable neighbors’ activities) we didn’t feel safe taking any hikes or walks away from the cabin with our small beagle. This was a horrible stressful vacation that was costly. One we booked last minute to get away from our stressful jobs for just a long weekend.

Beautiful view and new property

We absolutely loved our stay! This is new construction so everything was very clean and very modern. We noticed how quiet it is inside. If you want a great view of the river, this has it! I would recommend.

Clean with Beautiful Views

The property was very clean and tucked away in the mountains. The views from the patio were breathtaking! The beds were also so comfortable. Guests should note that the property was difficult to access with switchbacks on a loose gravel road. Luckily we had my husbands truck. There were also trespasser warning signs which weren't comforting as you are entering a long driveway that the house isn't visible from. We also arrived after dark so that did make it more difficult to navigate. I wouldn't recommend staying here if you have small children. The bunkbeds don't have high enough railings on them.
