Welcome to Cartagena Correa’s Condominiums. Building ‘s name Altamar de Marbella Penthouse 32A .We are only 8 blocks from the old City (Ciudad Amurallada) a taxi will charge about $10,000 in pesos ($4.00 dollars) for the 7 minute drive from the airport.

We own the only Penthouse in the building, with a 360 degree view of the Ocean and Lake.
With high ceilings of aprox. 30' feet high.

The 3rd bedroom downstairs has 2 twin size beds.
The 4th bedroom downstairs has 2 twin size beds and a roll out bed.
TV in living room is 46" with dvd and cable channels in spanish and english.

A Perfect Sunrise View

My friends and I stayed at this amazing location to celebrate my 45th birthday. The views from the Penthouse were amazing. The property was safe, check-in was seamless and Ms. Glenda was a gem. Definitely don't pass on this one.

This stay offered everything we needed with its location, amenities and spectacular views. The host was always available and the sweetest cook took care of us. It’s not the place to party or have the kids run around but its perfect for adult relaxation.

Even the pictures didn’t prepare us for the experience. We love this unit, you feel relaxed when you enter. It is just as described. The view is breathtaking. Stay in Colombia

This was the first place that appeared when my family and I were looking for a place to stay in Colombia, and we are so happy that was our first pic as well. Not only did the host post exact pictures of where we stay but everything was precise right down to the money.The only thing was the living room area was a bit hot. Glenda took care of us like we were her own children. Breakfast was amazing and one day she even cooked for us, and made fresh squeezed lemonade for us.We will definitely be coming back to Cartagena and this will be the only place we will stay at.Thank you to Ana the host, who we never met, but was in contact with us throughout.

First time in Cartagena

Our stay started off a bit rough because of us not the host, not paying attention to address details. From the airport the taxi dropped us off at the clock tower. We contact the host, she spoke to the driver, we were checking in a few moments later. Everywhere was walkable from the residence from Walled City, Clock Tower, Getsetmani. However, taking a taxi is recommended in my opinion. Overall the place is great. Host was great I would definitely stay again and I’d recommend to anyone that’s going. Definitely a five star banner!

Gorgeous panoramic views of Cartagena!

Property is well kept, spacious and in a great location. Beaches and Cartagena sign are less than a minute walk away. Easy UBER rides to the walled city and anywhere you want to go. We could have stayed inside the walled city, but it was nice to be away from the craziness inside the walls. Heat was no joke, but it’s near the equator!! Kind of weird to not be able to flush toilet paper also. Glenda, the maid, was so wonderful! Only wished she made different dishes for breakfast. It was great but had the same meal each morning.

Fun trip

This was our first time to Columbia so we weren't really sure what to expect and where to stay. We felt very comfortable and safe at Ana's penthouse. It was spacious to allow our group of 8 to each have a bedroom and not feel crowded. Glenda coming each day to make coffee, breakfast, and make beds/clean was one of our highlights. It does state 3 bathrooms, but we thought it meant that each master suite had a bathroom and were surprised that the third bathroom was very small off the kitchen/laundry and mainly used by Glenda. The balcony had beautiful views and we spent time at the pool and the short walk across the street to spend a day at the beach. We had read that this area was a good location - it was safe (especially with the security guards at the entrance of the building), but we kind of wished we would have been closer to the walled city where there were tons of fun shops and restaurants. There weren't a lot of restaurants near us and it was about a half mile walk to get there. The security guards at the front desk will arrange for taxi pick-up so that was very easy as well. All in all we would recommend this penthouse. Fun place, spacious to relax.

Lovely penthouse in Cartagena

The property, and the maid were amazing. Glenda the maid/cook, cooked breakfast for us every day. The unit is a secure building and we were on the 32nd floor. The views of the city were amazing. The unit is very large with two bedrooms, living room, dining room, kitchen, laundry room, and a bath and a half downstairs. Upstairs has two additional bedrooms, and a large bathroom with a jacuzzi tub. When you enter the unit place the key in the holder next to the door, or your ACs will not work. The safe probably needs batteries or needs to be replaced. It worked sporadically during our stay. Glenda is very honest we left money laying around and never lost anything. I would highly recomend this unit.

This place was GREAT!!

The city and ocean views from this place are amazing. You can walk right across the street to the beach. The pool was closed but the owner gave us a discount, and anyway the beach is right across the street. The maid was so nice and was a great cook. I have no idea why another reviewer said the place wasn't as big as he thought it would be, its very spacious. And there's a huge shower that has full views of the beach and city. I loved that the neighborhood was authentic Cartagena where you could walk a couple blocks and have a beer or a meal with the locals who where all very friendly, and if you want something fancier the Ibis hotel is right next door with great drinks and food. You can get anywhere in the city cheaply and easily as cabs come by constantly. Also the owner was very helpful with questions we had about places to go in Cartagena, she was available every day. I highly recommend staying here. Also the outdoor deck overlooking the ocean is amazing, I will never forget the views, the warm ocean breezes at night, and the sea birds that fly by so closely. Notes: I highly recommend getting a day pass at the Hilton (about $20 and a $3 cab ride away), there are 4 pools, a water slide, a swim up bar and beach access. Aaaand until they get their act together you can actually go for free as they track nothing. They also have a kids club and free cotton candy and/or snow cones. Our kids LOVED this place. If you have kids the mall has an awesome kids area.

Girls Trip

I would recommend everyone to stay at this unique property while visiting Cartagena. As a well-traveled person, I look for unique properties that offer the comforts of home along with access to enjoying the local culture. The property's caretaker provided a traditional Colombian breakfast for my friends and me daily, which was a tremendous difference from the typical continental breakfast provided at hotels. The convenience of the beach was understated! The ocean was simply a stone's throw from the penthouse, allowing blissful walks along the coast to watch the sunrise. The security of the building was incredible, and I felt safe no matter what time I entered the building. I highly recommend this penthouse!

The Best VIEW in Cartagena!!

Our stay was a whole experience. From the day we arrived, until checkout everything was perfect. From the views, to the location, to the daily breakfast and cleaning service provided by Glenda. Waking up to the view of the sun and beach was priceless. I highly recommend and will definitely be back soon!

Not very private

The penthouse is very nice, clean and with very nice views in all they rooms( even the bathrooms ). Glenda ( the maid) is very nice and helpful. However if you want privacy while you stay in the apartment this may not be for you. Glenda comes around 8 am and leaves around 2 pm. My family and I felt that we were not free to be ourselves because there was another set of eyes with us all the majority of the day. Also, we had a friend over for lunch one of the days and we had a hard time getting her in because her name was not in the list of occupants. Overall it is a nice place but having a maid in the apartamento should be an option you add or decline. My family definitely had prefer waving that option. Also the building policies are a little bit extreme if you can not invite a friend over for lunch or dinner.
