We had a wonderful stay at the John Burck House in Montague, PEI. The home is full of charm and history, with beautifully restored features and cozy, comfortable rooms. Everything was spotless and well cared for, and the peaceful setting made for a truly relaxing getaway. The location was perfect for us. We felt warmly welcomed and would definitely stay here again. Highly recommended!
The house is beautiful and we'll equipped with everything you needThe town of Montague is so welcoming and Interesting..The Owner kept in touch everyday and greeted us.The bedrooms are comfortable .The kitchen is unique .Wonderful place to stay.
The John Burck Historical House was a GREAT place to stay with our family. The house has been beautifully renovated to look how it did in the 1930s. Even the appliances which were new looked like they were from the 1930s. The host was amazing and when we arrived, met us at the house and shared its history with us. He also provided a book with pertinent information and the history of the home. He checked in several times during our stay to make sure we had everything we needed.
The house is located in Montague so is near supermarkets, great restaurants and locations to visit with children. It was about a 45 min drive to Charlottetown or Souris - both places worth visiting.
My family and I would recommend staying at the John Burck Historical House on your visit to PEI.
Thank you John for a GREAT place to stay !!!

Why they chose this property
I grew up here in Montague and Joined the Army in 1985. I have always come homw while my Mom and Dad were still alive. I was so lucky I realized after I left home as my Parents were my best friends. I miss them dearly as family is everything and that is why we restored this home back to 1930.
What makes this property unique
It is the only Craftman style house in our town and it is even more unique as it was stuccoed when it was rebuild after the original house burned to the ground in 1929, and the original owner had it done that was as it was a huge fire in the store next door that caught our house on fire, so she didnt want to take the chance of that happening again.
