Better options in Ballarat
While this property is in a great location, it doesnt outweigh the fact that it was filthy on arrival.The bed sheets had hair all through them, luckily we found extra bedding to re-make the bed.Underneath the bed, there was enough dust to suggest it hadnt been vacuumed or cleaned for quite some time. The kitchen also required cleaning before cooking dinner the first night. Cutlery and plates were dirty.The coffee pod machine still had used pods and coffee liquid that needed cleaning. The shower door does not close and seal off, leaving a fair amount of water on the bathroom floor. For a 5 night stay, we were given 2 towels. After cleaning up the floor, we had to go and buy towels.The bed has a new mattress, however it is quite firm. After waking up stiff and sore the first morning, we decided to sleep on the fold out sofa for two nights. By day three, i decided to book elsewhere.The owner did offer a refund for the last 2 nights, but when i chased this up via email, i received no reply.Great location, but there are much better options for your stay in Ballarat!
