Hi, my name is Jessica.
I am originally from Halifax, Nova Scotia, and spent much of my summers growing up in a small rural fishing village off the coast of Cape Breton. In 2011, I went to Acadia University, where I started working within local agriculture, food and beverage, tourism, and hospitality. This is where I started to love how local food, travel, and hospitality can bring people together and create memorable experiences. Since 2011, I have lived in Denmark during the winters and returned to my now home in Northern Ontario.

Why they chose this property
The Lake House is perfectly situated along Lake Superior's coastal drive and we are located near some of the North's best wilderness, wellness and culinary experiences, four seasons a year!
Spring (May and June)
After a long winter, we always look forward to spring to slow down. It's the time when everything in nature starts to awaken. It's the perfect time to immerse yourself in nature, whether it's kayaking, hiking along Lake Superior's coast, or warming up in our cedar hot tub.
Summer (July and August)
July and August bring the best summer fun on Lake Superior's coast. It's the best time for coastal beach picnics, fish frys, and summer BBQs, and for celebrating summer nights with friends and family.
Fall (September and October)
There truly is nothing better than fall in Northern Ontario. We have fall lookouts all around. As the nights get colder, it's the perfect time to cozy up around the fireplace, stargaze in our dark skies, explore the vibrant foliage along the hiking trails.
Winter (November and April)
In Northern Ontario, we experience long winters but are surrounded by an abundance of skiing, snowshoeing, and ice fishing. Stokely Creek Lodge is 15 minutes away, famous for its snowshoeing and ice caves. Searchmont is located 35 minutes away for downhill skiing and snowboarding.
