About this property

Gorgeous view on the sea, swimming pool, tennis, green area, beautiful residence

Very nice apartment on the 1st floor of a residence with secure private parking. By the mercy of its large and beautiful gardens the residence is quiet and cool in summer. It has 2 tennis courts, a swimming pool opened from May to October and guarded by a lifeguard in July and August. It is very quiet, close to the port, the beaches and the creeks of Cassis (everything can be done by feet). The functional apartment has three bedrooms, a bathroom and a shower room, a separate toilet, a large dressing room, a fully equipped kitchen opened on a large living room and a large balcony-terrace. The apartment has been refurbished. The kitchen, living room and balcony offer a magnificent view of the sea and Cap Canaille.
During school holidays, I ask you to stay 5 days minimum, outside of those holidays, you can ask me.

Beautiful stay

It was a lovely stay — the view was picturesque, plenty of space, and a clean working crib for baby, who had her own room. Having two places to shower was a huge plus. The hill to arrive at the property guarantees daily exercise, and helps justify the amount of ice cream we ate on a daily basis. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again.

Nice place

Sabine’s place is comfy and spacious. The view is breathtaking. We did think there was 2 toilets but there is only one! It’s a French thing. We enjoyed our stay !

Very nice and complete appartment

We had a very nice stay at this very complete appartment. Everything you need for a great holiday is in the appartment and the view is really stunning! The apartment and amenities on site are great. The views are incredible and the apartment is well stocked with everything you need. We visited during the summer so it was quite hot - there is no air conditioning but there are ceiling fans. Cassis and the beaches are located down a very steep hill which we had to walk up/down each day as the parking is extremely limited in those areas so something to keep in mind if anyone in your group have any mobility issues. We had a problem with the check in/out process as we could only speak basic french and the property manager could not speak any english - she was late arriving to the check in and extremely rude to us when we were departing the property which somewhat tarnished our experience but aside from that, I would recommend the property as a rental when visiting Cassis.

holiday nightmare

We had a terrible time with the Host who accused us of breaking things we hadn't broken and charged us 400Euros and made up lies about us so she could get money from us. She continued to harrass us after our stay and was very rude. She ruined our holiday and made me very upset. The apartment is beautiful but be very careful with the host she was very very unpleasant. Also there is no air con and it was extremely hot.

Formidable!

Nous avons passé des vacances fantastiques à Cassis. Appartement bien aménagé avec une vue magique. Propre et agréable. L'appartement a vraiment tout ce qu'il faut et plus encore. Accueil sympathique à notre arrivée. Je peux certainement imaginer louer l'appartement à nouveau lorsque nous reviendrons à Cassis.

Tolle Lage, zu Fuß jedoch nicht einfach zum Ortskern

Tolle Lage und Sicht, jedoch relativ steil zum Hafen gelegen. Zu Fuß in höherem Alter sehr fordernd. PKW ins Dorf ebenso wenig bis eher keine Möglichkeiten zum Parken. Nervend, nicht nur in Cassis sind in den Dörfern der Gegend die Verkehrsberuhigungsmaßnahmen.

Wunderschöne Aussicht

Sehr erholsamer Aufenthalt hoch über Cassis. Die Aussicht ist phantastisch und absolut ruhig gelegen. Parkplatz nahe beim Haus und alles sehr gepflegt.

Ruim appartement met prachtig uitzicht

We hebben een fijne week gehad die we helaas moesten afbreken door de code oranje waardoor alleen noodzakelijke reizen in de Bouche du Rohne nog mochten. Cassis is prachtig maar erg druk. We hebben veel gewandeld.

L'appartement est très bien équipé, bien situé, calme et proche de Cassis.

On ne se lasse pas de la magnifique vue sur le Cap Canaille. Dans l'appartement, rien ne manque et celui-ci a parfaitement répondu à nos attentes. Nous étions 4 adultes avec un bébé. La résidence compte également une grande piscine avec gardien, 2 courts de tennis et l'indispensable piste de pétanque. Le tout sécurisé et parfaitement entretenu. Mme Hurel est toujours disponible pour répondre aux questions avant et pendant le séjour, cela met en confiance. Cassis est un magnifique village, les plages sont un peu petites mais agréables, surtout le matin et en fin d'a-m. Si vous êtes un lève-tôt, allez-y le matin, c'est le meilleur moment, à tout point de vue...Les Calanques toutes proches sont un must, Marseille mérite certainement une visite, surtout en passant par le col de la Gineste - D559). Aubagne, toute proche et ville natale de Marcel Pagnol n'est pas à négliger non plus. Si on a le choix, il vaut mieux éviter juillet-août, les paysages sont toujours aussi beaux, malheureusement, parmi les très (trop) nombreux touristes, certains (une minorité significative) dénués de toute forme d'éducation gâchent un peu le plaisir. Globalement, le rapport prix/prestations est bon (c'est évidemment subjectif et cela dépend de son budget vacances).

Super!

Gezellig , groot en mooi ingericht appartemant met prachtig zeezicht. Ontbijten op het terras met zicht op zee en de Cap Canaille is gewoonweg zalig! Zowel Sabine als Elodie zijn zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam. Ligt op een mooi onderhouden en afgesloten domein. Ook aan het zwembad is het nooit druk en is het genieten (zelfs een redder aanwezig). Het stadje zelf is prachtig met zijn haventje, smalle straatjes en gezellige restaurantjes. Tip: route des cretes volgen van Cassis naar La Ciotat/gaan eten in La Presqu'île. Dit appartement is een zeker een aanrader voor een aangenaam en rustig verblijf in Cassis!

Une vue magnifique du salon - on ne s´en lasse pas. Très bon accueil par Elodie. Piscine, tennis, ping pong, boules: les enfants étaient ravis. Merci pour les raquettes, balles et boules. Ménage acceptable. La femme de ménage pourrait faire les poussières...

Safety hazard make this flat not worth it even if great location

The flat is in a great location- up the hill from the port town and one of the main public beaches (approx 10 min walk down and 20 min walk up) - and the apartment complex is great for families. However I cannot recomend this actual property after we were locked into the apartment due to a defective lock on the door. The owner was not at all concerned when we tried to reach her as we struggled to get out of the flat- two stories above ground level- and later admonished us for leaving the windows and doors to the balcony open which must have created a wind tunnel forcing the door to the flat to slam... When it was more likely that our kids had stepped out and let the door shut too quickly behind them. In any event regardless of how the door was slammed I think it is a safety hazard to have a door that easily locks in place with a deadbolt that cannot be disengaged by hand. The deadbolt-like lock fell off the pin and engaged an additional lock in the floor so we were trapped. We were able to thankfully free ourselves by unscrewing the lock apparatus from the door and then were able to disengage the floor lock. It was terrifying as three of our four kids were locked outside of the apartment at the time and it took what seemed like forever to find a screwdriver. Afterwards we learned from neighbors that this is not the first time there has been trouble with the lock. The owner then charged us for her 'locksmith' to simply put the broken lock back on the door. I purposefully did not reattach the floor lock because there was already a regular lock that worked just fine and I didn't want to risk being locked in again. When I complained to the owner about the charge she indicated she could Easily take out more of my deposit for a conversion fee because my credit card was not French- despite the fact my credit card was charged in euros and I paid a conversion fee already to my credit card company and the fact that the vrbo website did not indicate anything about paying an additional fee for using a charge card. I found her threat quite shady. Again it is a lovely complex and Cassis is wonderful to visit but I cannot in good conscience recomend this place knowing that the door's security bolt so easily engages inadvertently with only the slightest pressure on the door and the owner seems to not care or wants to only blame it on the wind.

Appartement très chaleureux

Appartement dans résidence calme, propre et sécurisée. Piscine très appréciable lorsque on a plusieurs enfants. Vue imprenable sur le Cap Canaille, terrasse très agréable. Appartement très bien agencé et décoré avec goût, beaucoup de rangement, très bien équipé. Le centre ville accessible à pied, environ 10/15 mn. Le premier retour difficile pour des non sportifs mais on s'habitue! Cassis est un endroit fort agréable, le port, les alentours (route des crêtes, La Ciotat, Saint Cyr sur Mer, calanques en bâteau...) Seul bémol : les plages de Cassis sont petites, nous sommes allés plus sur les plages de La Ciotat/ St Cyr les Flecques à 15/20 mn à voiture (très agréables) Excellentes vacances, de très bons souvenirs! A recommander!
