Very nice conversion of a heritage downtown building. Apartment was very clean and smartly decorated. We enjoyed our stay very much and will choose The Harriss again for our next visit to Wilson.

Beautiful

The stay was awesome. When I walked into my suite, my mouth just dropped open and all I could say was how beautiful it was inside. It felt like home away from home. I will definitely be returning because it was worth the price, comfortable, and the art was amazing.

Excellent room. Great in room amenities. Feels more like a luxury apartment than a hotel room. Extremely comfortable, spotlessly clean. This is a self service hotel. If you are on the second floor be prepared for a long flight of stairs. There is no elevator. Met the owner on my way in. Great lady. We had a lovely chat, she is doing great things to revitalize the city. Gracious and happy to offer recommendations on dining.

It's the only 4 star "hotel" that popped up in my orbitz search in the Wilson area. From what I've heard from my in laws (who live in Wilson), this is a renovated building in downtown Wilson. The hotel was very nice. Modern, sleek and clean. I love that they offered an in-room kitchenette, very convenient for guests who like to cook while they travel. A few suggestions to improve the experience at the Harriss: offer larger beds, softer pillows, and a gym. I stayed in room 201 and the bed seemed really small. I can't remember if it was advertised as a queen but it looked like a double. Also the pillows were really hard. They looked really fluffy but when I laid down my head didn't sink into them. And lastly, it would have been nice to have a gym. Overall, I enjoyed my stay. I also found some nice eatery within walking distance from the hotel.
