How many places can you stay in a covered wagon? The bed was comfortable. Super close to restrooms. Heater worked perfectly. Super clean. Even had a pickleball court! Will stay again

Great stay and so close to garner state park! Wonderful staff, and loved the wiffle ball and dog park. Such a great place to star gaze in the evening while roasting s’mores :)

Incredible hospitality, great location, and very dog-friendly! We had a fantastic stay at Pitmaster RV Park! The location is perfect-just an easy 8-minute drive to Garner State Park, making it an ideal base camp for exploring and hitting the Frio River.

We had a pretty good stay overall. The rv was clean, staff was nice, and it was convenient for what we needed. I liked that it was pet-friendly, and having laundry available was a plus. Would stay here again.

As first timers to this property, we enjoyed our stay, property manager was inviting, friendly and made check in process a breeze. We will be coming back. Suggestions pack pickle ball, baseball equipment to utilize the rec on site. Very well kept pit area, we made awesome bbq on their large smokers.

The RV park itself is wonderful but the RV I was in, need some work. The people who welcome me at my arrival were fantastic, very very nice people always wanted to help and make your stay perfect but they are not the owner of the trailer I was staying in. I loved my stay!

We were traveling for a wedding and didn’t spend a lot of time at the RV park or use any of the amenities. We did walk around to see everything and the BBQ area and the bath house looked really nice. Everything was very clean and the manager, Shelley, was very friendly and helpful. The unit we stayed in was immaculate and had everything we needed. I would definitely recommend Pitmaster RV Park.

We loved the old time experience of staying in a wagon with modern upgrades. Def a must visit in South Texas. We plan to come by here to either stay in the wagon or rent an rv. I love how they have gas grills, smoker, & campfires, too. The gentleman who helped my husband and I take a Polaroid with our camera was very accommodating.

The property was beautiful , clean and close proximity to Garner State park and restaurants . Our host was very kind and accommodating, he’s the best ! We rented the wagon , bed was comfortable but it could be a bit hot when it’s 91F outside. The air conditioning unit can’t handle. We will be back when it’s not too hot.

We were the only people on the property. It was very quiet. Be careful walking across the grass in sandles, as there are stickers. There is a slight sulfur smell to the water when showering. Overall, the place is pristine. The covered wagon is lovely but consider it a comfortable camping experience.

My travel trailer experience

I wanted to visit Concan, Tx to see the Frio River. It has been years since I went to Garner State Park. I found Pit Master Rv park on Hotels.com I stayed there overnight in a newish travel trailer that belongs to them. It was spotless and very comfortable. I brought my dog, so having a clean nice place to stay with a fenced dog park was perfect. This place is about a 10 minute drive to Garner State Park. I highly recommend staying here. The park has clean restrooms, showers and new laundry area.
