We had actually upgraded to a cabin, there was nothing wrong with the motel room, the cabin was more what we wanted. The motel/cabins is off a road which leads to the lake through the Lake George Battlefield Park. To go to the village or the lake is downhill and uphill on the way back to the motel/hotel. The beds were comfortable the cabin/motel was clean and spacious. Pool, fire pits and shuffleboard available. We would stay again

Full kitchen - pots and pans, plates, bowls, cups, utensils. Stove with oven, big fridge, freezer.. Super friendly staff. Great for long stay. Short walk to the lake.

This is a great property. Initially we rented a large “suite” but immediately upgraded to one of their adorable cabins just across from the playground and pool. The property has super nice and accommodating staff, plenty of parking and really nice families staying there; some are regulars for 20, 40 years! This is truly a family stay place and we were so happy to have found it. Now we’re planning to return year after year! Two beautiful Adirondack chairs on a quiet little stoop outside of each meticulously cared for cabin; beautiful plants, flower boxes and gardens everywhere and comfortable beds. Can’t say enough!

Room was clean and fairly comfortable but items you routinely have in hotel rooms like soap, shampoo, coffee and a sheet for the futon were missing. Nobody was in the office to assist.

Pros: - Great location to see the sites in Lake George as you can easily walk down to the beach and activities. - The outside flower planters, porch, and chairs were lovely. - The room is aged, but met our need for a quick stay to visit family. Cons: - We stayed in a suite which is in the older motel area and not located near the cabins, pool, etc. - Plan to bring everything from bathroom soap to sheets for the futon. We asked for futon sheets, etc and received just one, a pillow, and a comforter so ended up buying our own. - TV doesn’t accept inputs from the remote and there isn’t a way to turn up the volume. Recommended improvements: - Remarks through third party booking indicate to call the hotel ahead of time, but that appears to be connected with checking in outside of office open periods. Rewording to indicate all guests should call may assist the manager as she indicated it was difficult to prepare for guests that book through third parties. - Carpet cleaning and/or replacement would spruce up the spaces alot. Overall met the need, but we will likely stay elsewhere next time.
