Needlessly complicated check in process - why did I have to supply my ID? There is no UK legal requirement for this and most places don't do it. The booking app has my details if anything goes wrong. My room (6) was in a dark lower basement, not listed as such. I asked for upstairs room which was available but it did not have a cooking stove. Decor bit naff but place was essentially clean and comfortable with proper bedside tables, and reading lights. There was an issue with the hob which I could not get unlocked. I had to eat microwave food, reluctantly. I sent customer service a video showing how hob was stuck. They claimed it was working fine, sending their own video. But I could not tell if it was the same hob and they refused any compensation. Outside front door stinks of cigarettes & no recycling on offer.

Too difficult to deal with, needed to upload ID before the stay and kept sending me a link that I couldn’t click on. Right at the last minute offered to text me the link so I could copy it, was too late by then. I decided to stay somewhere else. Wouldn’t recommend.
