One week holiday in La Rochelle

The hotel is situated in a quiet area, close to the old port, about 10 mins walk to terasses and restaurants, 20mins walk to the train station. There is a Carrefour 5 mins walk from the hotel which was handy. The apartment was very clean, AC was great as we went to La Rochelle right in the middle of the heatwave.We did have to buy consumables (shower gel, toilet paper, dishwasher tablets) but we knew that already before arrival. The kitchen is well equipped for a holiday, most days we had breakfast in the room. Pool is not too big but we always found empty chairs and could cool down a bit in the afternoon. Would book again next time.

Nice appart-hotel. Rooms are Clean and practical. Er Just wished for a larger table for Breakfest or to play some Games. Location was great, Just 5 minutes Walk to harbour, Aquarium, super Market and Restaurants. The description on Expedia was wrong about the service. If you stay longer than 6 nichts, No towels are provided and No room service. However the nice service personel have been accomodating and gave us towels for free

Ok stay, but bring your own towels

Hôtel is ok and is clean. Parking is excellent and was a real benefit as finding parking in the main area of La Rochelle is a nightmare. Location is a bit commercial and out of the main area, but there is a shuttle water taxi that cuts off have of the walk to the main area, with this stopping at 11:45pm. The location therefore ended up being ok. Breakfast was ok but expensive. No safe in room which was a bit of an issue. The hotel also only provides one bath towel for your stay and charges per towel to change this. Each room appears to have its own hot water cylinder, so make sure that the first person in the bathroom does not run off all of the hot water - a full bath would use it all. No one on reception from 8pm till 8am, although you are given a code.

Arrivé à 10h pour 17h ils ont fait leur maximum pour nous fournir les 2 logements pour 15h30. Beaucoup de renseignements donnés par le personnels de l'accueil qui va jusqu'à la réservation de croisière et ce avec remise. Très forte chaleur a l'extérieur presque 40° et avec la clim 22 dans les appartements.

La résidence n'est pas trop mal située et est au calme. L'appartement que nous avons eu était très sympa et la piscine est jolie et chauffée. Toutefois, il n'y a pas de service hôtelier, même pour les petits séjours (moins de 6 jours). Pour les plus longs séjours, ça se comprend dans le cadre de la location d'un appartement mais pour trois nuits, c'est un manque. Ainsi, le lit n'est pas refait, le papier toilette n'est pas réapprovisionné (il faut en redemander) et les serviettes ne sont pas changées. C'est d'autant plus problématique que suite à un écoulement d'eau (fuite lors des douches) nous avons dû utiliser des serviettes pour éponger. Nous avons averti réception qui a pris note mais rien n'a été fait ni remplacé... En ce qui concerne le petit déjeuner, si certains produits sont locaux, il manque cruellement de diversité et le troisième jour, il n'y avait quasiment rien de disponible. Nous avons (ainsi que d'autres résidents) dû réclamer du pain, du bacon, du fromage, de la charcuterie... A 20€ le petit déjeuner, c'est mesquin.

Hôtel très sympa et personnel très agréable et avenant. La chambre est bien niveau qualité prix, la cuisine est bien équipée, le lit confortable. Le petit déjeuner est bien fourni et copieux avec du choix et du local. Les petits bémols sont au niveau de la salle de bain, vu la configuration de la pièce, une cabine de douche est plus appropriée qu'une baignoire. J'ai eu des petits soucis avec le wifi et la télé a eu quelques ratés au niveau du signal. Néanmoins, ce n'est que du détail, mon séjour de 8 jours étais parfait, il y a des transports en commun, des commerces et des lieux de visite ou culture à proximité. On peut même louer des vélos ou utiliser les vélos en libre-service de la ville. Je reviendrai très prochainement

Chambre très propre et bien tenu. On regrette la cuisine, qui par manque de place, on retrouve le micro onde à 1.70m de hauteur (galère pour prendre les plats). De plus on nous informe qu'il faut faire le tri mais il y a qu'une seule poubelle dans l'appartement .... A suivre !
