Wonderful in every way and without a doubt the best value. Yes, it is in a retirement home, which is a great thing. The best place to stay when visiting Paris. Close to La Defense and then great restaurants and shopping.

Really enjoyed our stay at Villa Médicis Staff was very friendly. Grocery store across the street, several bakeries nearby and even a « market on Wednesdays and Saturdays. The residence is surrounded by a park with a stream and there is a playground across the street. Transportation to la Defense (and Paris) is at your door. Note: there is no daily room cleaning like a hotel but you can have a cleaning if you stay more than 7days.

The beds weren't very good; the bed and headboard weren't attached and kept sliding around... It was uncomfortable and small... There should have been a small armchair in the rooms... Other than that, everything was perfect... Very clean, comfortable, safe, quiet, a great place...
