My suite was roomy, clean, bright and well equipped. It is just steps to the beach and the hotel lends out chairs and umbrellas at no extra cost. There are several restaurants in a 1/2 block radius.

This is our 2nd time staying at Refugio del Mar for short stays (4 nights) in Bucerias. Both times we stsyed.in one of the 2nd floor, 2 bedroom apartments called "Eva". The apt is reslly nice, has two balconies, very spacious with a nice full size kit hen and new appliances. Very clean, comfy and friendly staff. Will definitely come back.here next time!

The Staff were wonderful. Rooms were very clean and enjoyed our pool. It was warm and clean. Unfortunately there is a lot of construction going on and daytime was noisy, no fault of of the Refugio Hope to go back when the building construction is completed

The pool was sparking clean. The staff were great. The pictures make it look like it's a bigger property, but it's really small and all 3 towers are separate entrances. It's close to downtown but the location was not quite what I was expecting. The room was tiny. Pictures make it look bigger but were still accurate. Overall it was completely fine. No elevators and no way of knowing when booking that we would be on the second floor. The worst part was the rooms - you can hear everything going on outside. One night a dog across the street was barking for an hour and it sounded like it right outside our door. Not really any fault of the hotel but it was sooooo annoying. The beds were also very hard. Not the worst, but still hard.
