The room I got was very good for the price. It was perfectly clean and had all the amenities I wanted plus some extras, like they provided detergent for the washing machine. The location is nice (1 block away from a subway station) and the staff are efficient. The only thing I disliked is that they want you to leave your keys with the front desk whenever you leave the hotel, which is strange and could cause problems, but thankfully I avoided any such problems.

This was a charming little place very close to the river, restaurants and shopping and just a short walk to the subway. Check-in was easy, staff was nice and the rooms were well-designed, cozy and clean. The price was very reasonable and we would definitely return.

Lovely Hotel!

Spacious and clean, with friendly front desk staff. Close to two subway stops and easily walkable to many tourist sites in Kyoto. Would stay again!

Staff is very friendly and the property is very clean. It is also walking distance to many shrines and parks, and very close to the subway station, so you can easily access many parts of the city from there.

One of the better places you're likely to stay in. Room was beautifully designed with great facilities. Very friendly staff. Came to really like the neighbourhood - near some classic temple sites and and much less busy than the better known Gion.
