We were staying during the summer season, so it wasn't as busy as in the winter. However, we absolutely loved Salla and the Holiday Club there! There is everything you need in the cottage and you can reach the hiking trails directly from the doorstep. We had a great vacation, thank you!

We had a fab time and stayed in a lovely log cabin - was clean and perfect for two adults and a nine year old. The resort was very quiet with two places to eat that were walkable. We really enjoyed the skiing, was approx 160 euros per day for two adults and a child for equipment hire and lift passes. The only downside was that the pool and gym were quite expensive to use - 45 euros for three people to swim and 6 euros to use the gym that were both part of the hotel. Also make sure you stock up on supplies before you get there in Salla if you dont have a car - there is only a tiny shop on site and was no milk while we were there. Also arrange transport before you get there! We were stung with taxis' that cost 630 euros in total to get to and from the airport

Spa and breakfast not included in the accommodation. Spa openes 2 PM and price is almost double if you don’t book in advance Cabin located about 500m away from the reception. Came as a total surprise. Reception and main building opens at 12, which I find odd - If you lose or forget your key, there seems to be no one help you out. Our cabin didn’t have a washing machine, although it was mentioned in Hotels.com as washing machine / drying machine. Good part - cabin was cozy located near to the nature. Local restaurant great. Ski rental customer servants gave good service. You really need to rent a car, it’s literally middle of nowhere. Bus next to hotel goes to Rovaniemi like once in a day, so do not recommend to rely only on a bus. Do I recommend the place? Don’t think so. Must be better opening hours and more value to money (either rates to be more reasonable or include Spa and breakfast).

Perfekt läge med närhet till skidbacke, spår och promenadstråk. Några restauranger finns på promenadavstånd. Stugan var välutrustad och i fint och rent skick. Renar sågs runt stugan varje dag. Rekommenderas varmt!

Tuskaisen kuuma nukkua

Legendaarisen kiva kelomökki, hyvällä paikalla ja sopii kahdelle hengelle. Säilytystilan puute olisi hankala enemmällä kuin kahdelle yöpyjälle. Kaikki mukavuudet löytyy, MUTTA aivan sairaan kuuma nukkua eikä ole ilmalämpöpumppua eikä voi pitää ovea auki, koska itikat ja polttiaiset iskee heti ja keittiön pikkuräppänä ei tuo happea eikä viilennä. Olisi aivan mahdoton yöpyä kesähelteillä, koska nytkään ei pystynyt nukkumaan hetkeäkään. Ilmalämpöpumput olisivat ehdoton hankinta. En valitsisi kelomökkiä uudestaan kesä-syys-aikaan vain tästä syystä.

Väärät tiedot sänkymäärästä

Kämppä oli hyvä, mutta vähän pieni 8 hengelle. Varauksessa sanottiin, että majapaikassa on 6 yhden hengen vuodetta ja yksi vuodesohva. Siellä ei kuitenkaan ollut vuodesohvaa ja lisäksi oli yksi parivuode yksittäissänkyjen tilalta. Eli näiltä osin tiedot olivat väärät ja aiheuttivat meille ongelmia yöpymisen suhteen.
