Hotel room was great overlooking the ocean. The pool area seating was very crowded and busy every day. The restaurant was adequate - food good. Spa massage was not that great but OK. Great having a grocery store on site. Book exchange could have had a better selection in English!! Loved the proximity to the boardwalk.

Great hotel in a very good location. Staff are very helpful and the rooms are very spacious and spotless. We had absolutely everything we needed and very much liked the eco friendliness with a fresh filtered water tap in the apartment too. We never used the pool area but walked through a few times and everything looked good. Beds and bedding very good quality and we had a great sleep.

Santa Barbara is a lovely accommodation in GDS. great location and close to lovely places to eat. The room and complex was ideal. Very good. I gave 4 stars but would have given 5 if I didn’t need to contact for th bed change/towel change as they kept missing our apartment out. However then did the change the next day and they apologised for missing us twice.
