One of the nicer Oaks establishments I have stayed at. Check in was easy and staff were nice. Convenient city location. Close to restaurants, stadium, cinemas nearby. Clean room and general areas like lobby and hallways are clean as well.

We arrived early and was able to check in. We also got an upgrade from a room to a 1 bed apartment overlooking the Stadium. We got a late check out also. Easy to park underground.

Staff were lovely. One bedroom apartment was comfortable, well-laid out with well-equipped kitchen, washing machine in the spacious bathroom and king-sized bed. Pool area nice. Quiet and very well-located, very close walking distance to restaurants, pubs, stadium etc.

Avoid this place. Dusty dirty rooms, empty toiletries, fridge not working, broken fixtures. Terrible service. Also the advertised free parking is first in first served and there are very few parks - you will likely end up parking on the street.

Oaks Townsville rooms are very good, the staff are friendly and my room was maintained/cleaned exceptionally well. Only small concern was that free internet isn’t included in the payment for the room, you can pay a small on-line fee for access.

This property is tired and the lack of cleaning attention is evident. The bathroom featured a very highsided bathtub which could be dangerous to get in and out of. However the reception staff were very welcoming and helpful.
