I chose this place for a specific reason, which was the distance from my friends staying in an apartment close by. So my only requirements were a good night sleep and cleanliness without breaking the bank since I was only for 30hrs in Zurich. The property matched all of them.

TERRIBLE PLACE TO STAY.

The “hotel” was terrible. When we got into the hotel there was water all over the floor. Afterwards the next morning, the ceiling was leaking all over the floor in front of the bathroom door. You can hear everyone coming in and out of the hotel as the door slams really loudly. There is a cigarette smell that comes from leaving your window open but if you close it there is no fan, ac, or ventilation in the room.

Only booked this because it was close to an event I was attending and was happy at the price. I was surprised by all the in-room amenities because I want looking for that. A person staying longer would have benefited from the kitchen, dining table and ironing board. I was impressed by the large bathroom including a whirl pool bath tub.

The studio was good but the bin in the kitchen was full of garbage (milk cartons, egg cartons, etc) and the wall at the side of the table was falling apart, the paint even got in my husband's jacket.

Had no power for our whole stay

Turned up after check in and the room hadn’t been cleaned. Power went out within our first few hours of being there, contacted the helpline multiple times and they said they’d send out an electrician. They never did! Spent the whole trip with no way to charge phones in our room and no lights!

This place was horrible: dirty and in poor condition. Cabinet door was broken, shower rod had duck tape on it, bathroom fixtures were attached to the wall with half the amount of screws so were barely hanging on and unusable, my bathroom sink wouldn’t drain, the heat was on in 95° weather and there was no fan, there were stains on the walls, the door to the building was unsecured, and the entryway and stairwells were filthy. It was not at all as it appeared in the Expedia pictures when we booked it and management never replied to my email. Avoid.

In the bathroom the water doesn‘t drain away. The TV and the kettle don’t work. If you try to speak to the management, you‘ll kept on hold and nobody answers the phone. The area around the entrancy smells stinky. In the room there are many stains on the furniture. These appartements are horrible and not worth any penny.

Poorly maintained Fan so broken and out of balance that it couldn’t be used Shower head hose broken and sprayed all over the bathroom Was advised routine maintenance was to occur during my stay, so I told them about these issues, but nothing happened Was advertised as daily maid service. Didn't happen The common area is filthy. If you a light sleeper, I suggest staying somewhere else. The trolly tram runs directly outside

The neighbourhood is really nice, easy to get on transport. What was a bit confusing when I got keycode when registered I thought it was the room code. I got an email the day before about mainfloor access code and didn’t know it was room code as well. So was a bit stressed when tried KeyCode and it didn’t work. Just randomly punched in main floor door code and it opened the room.

To summarise my reasoning and experience - this is why I believe that a full refund is necessary :- * Room was not available on arrival (email indicated that it was) * Room had not been cleaned (and probably wouldn’t have in time unless we had arrived at 12:30pm and made contact re the missing key). * Cleaner took well over an hour to get this tiny single room clean. * Room looks (and is) absolutely nothing like the photos represented on Wotif - room is not an apartment, it is a single small room with a small bathroom attached. * Issues with room:- - it is filthy and potentially dangerous - there are obvious signs of toxic mold throughout the room and especially in the bathroom and around the kitchenette - The shower door is broken and hanging off - being glass this is serious - The toilet seat is hanging off, moves from side to side - There is a “decorative” piece of wood that is hanging off the wall and has nails exposed - There are external lights that cannot be turned off that light up the entire room all night - it is extremely dated And there were several attempts by people (or one person) to gain access into the room whilst we were in it (before I even made the complaint)

You have been warned : do not stay here is you don’t want your money to be stolen, stranger entering your room when you are naked, no toilet paper for the whole trip and climbing up 4 huge staircases with your big suitcase. I paid quite a lot for this property for 5 nights, and it has been the worst nightmare of my 2 months traveling through Europe. Its the worst property I ever stay in in my entire life. First, it is very far from city center. Second, they double charged you and acted stupid when you wanted your money back. Jerome who is a staff here ignored my request to have toilet papers for the whole trip and ignored my request to refund me for the double charge. My friend and I ended up rushing to groceries to buy toilet paper as the staff here can’t be contacted when you need them. Trash is not collected in the room, no change of towel, they said they don’t do that for anything less than 7 nights (we stayed 5 nights). Such a horror! do not stay here. Save yourself from nightmare like mine.
