The location was excellent: close enough to walk to the village. The suite was spacious, beds are nice and comfortable. We had a wonderful time at the Lodge! The check-in and check-out was very smooth, and we would definitely stay here again.

Great convenient location just off the highway and walking distance to the village. Larger than expected spacious auite. Clean and comfortable. Only thing was the thin walls where we could hear the neighbors a little bit at night. Would recommend and stay again.

Pool, sauna, hot tub is in a sunny spot on the property & such a nice touch! After a long day it was the perfect way to wind down. Staff here attentive and warm. 8 mins walking distance to the village. Not a new sparkly lodge/property but well kept and clean. Would definitely stay here again.

Nestled in the woods on the perimeter of the main streets, it is quiet and comfortable. The hotel could use some updates but it had everything we needed. NO A/C but it was cool enough at night that we slept comfortably. They also provided fans. We enjoyed the pool although it was not heated. Friendly staff.

Tantalus is an epic option for larger groups coming up to visit Whistler. The hotel is old school but very well maintained and run. It definitely has its charm and offers unparalleled space for the price. The only thing you could possible knock it for is that the location is slightly out of the downtown strip. That said it’s a 5 min walk max to get there and hey, you’re in whistler for the fresh air and exercise anyway!

Great location a quick walk to the village. The room is spacious and had lots of seating. We enjoyed the full kitchen and used the dinning table for meal times. Quiet at night and we slept good. We wished they gave us linens that were not stained as it makes you not want to use them. The hotel could make changes to the carpet in the room as it is very worn. The hot tubs had no jets and the pool was very cold. My rating is 2/5 because of these issues.
