Another good stay. Good basic and clean accommodation, being winter I did find it rather cold this time and could have done with another or thicker duvet but the accommodation itself lacks nothing, well positioned in a nice suburban area of Kyoto close to transport, and it's own shrines and onsens.

This was a great place to stay in Kyoto. Lots of cafes nearby, along with convenience stores, a grocery store and bus stops. This was my first time visiting Japan and I really enjoyed my stay. The place was cozy and had everything I needed. I will definitely be back!

The property is very clean, well organized and pretty roomy with a living area and separate bedroom. It is in a nice quiet residential area within walking distance of one famous shrine (Kinkaku-ji) but has a few lovely local shrines all around. Communication and directions were excellent. We used Ben's as a base for our Japan stay for two weeks(multiple nights in other cities). It was a clean and tidy traditional style room. The location was at a quiet area of Kyoto, but was convenient for travel into the centre of Kyoto and the station. Plenty of shops and dining nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful and we would happily stay there again.
