This boutique hotel has an excellent location very close to the acropolis, restaurants and stores, including one decent grocery store. The room was fairly spacious and comfortable. But what really made the experience was the helpful and genial host, Sakis.

Our stay at Arco and Polis was fantastic. Our host, Sakis, was amazing — he communicated clearly from the start and even arranged our airport transport, which made our arrival completely stress‑free. He also shared great recommendations for restaurants, things to do, and local spots we wouldn’t have found on our own. The location couldn’t be better. We were just a short walk from the Acropolis, shops, and plenty of restaurants, making it easy to explore Athens on foot. The place itself was clean, comfortable, and exactly what we needed for our stay. Highly recommend staying here if you’re visiting Athens.

This was such a special experience for my sister and I. Sakis took such good care of us from start to finish, like arranging all our transportation during a taxis strike. His place in Plaka was perfect for us with the two bedrooms and an amazing view from both. It was close to everything being in the core of Plaka. Excellent location in Plaka right in the middle of everything. A very easy walk to anywhere in the city and especially to nice restaurants and shopping within five minutes. The host communicated with us. If we needed anything, he was right there and was very welcoming. We are very happy. We chose to stay here and would definitely stay here again.

A great location, with access to a rooftop patio overlooking the city and the Acropolis. Lovely place to sit in evening and listen to the city sounds. The room has everything you’ll need for your stay. Even has a small patio. Incredibly quiet at night considering the location. An easy walk to the shops, acropolis museum and nightlife.
