We really enjoyed our stay at Mimaru. The Kyoto Station location was a short walking distance from the train station. Mitsu at the front desk was super helpful. The staff all spoke great English. The beds were on the firm side if that is something you prefer.

We loved our stay at this hotel and found it a great base to explore Kyoto with our two children. Rooms were perfect for a family of 4, clean and well equipped. Great view of the shinkansens out the window, lovely friendly staff and super easy access to the station.

The location of this hotel was amazing. Steps from the train station, the mall and 7-11. The staff was absolutely amazing - stored our bags both before check-in and after check-out. Front desk staff were excellent. We really appreciated being able to borrow umbrellas and loved the list of other items to borrow, which included a straightening iron. Our family room was spacious and incredibly quiet. Would stay here again in a heart beat.

We do not speak Japanese, but the person at the front desk checked my family of four in efficiently and spoke English.. she explained everything and was very personable and kind. The four-bed room was comfortable and clean-we even rented the Apple TV so we could watch Netflix and Hulu! The location is right across from the train station-very convenient. We checked out and left our luggage there to go shopping for a few hours before heading out to Osaka. This is a fabulous place and we would certainly stay here again!
