Super cute and unique place to stay. The views from this place are worth it! I did have to open the windows at night as the air circulation upstairs in the loft is a bit hot but once all windows were open, we were fine. A great place to stay for the night with amazing views!

We love staying this place!

Very comfortable with almost everything: a sofa, refringerator, small kitchen with dual stoves, dinning table, etc. the beds are on 2nd floor; plenty of room. Very nice view out of the window. We love this place.

Four tiny houses out in the country, but close to the city. Bedroom loft stairs are steep and it gets warm upstairs, but windows do open which allows fir fresh air.

Very small intimate cabin - hubby bumped his head due to the low overhead space leading up the stairs. We had an issue due to the unseasonably warm weather but when we contacted the owners they were very responsive and helpful. Overall a very nice stay!

We had a wonderful stay and saw the northern lights right out our back door. Spotless warm and comfortable. Winter can play havoc with the roads so beware. There is no tv or microwave- did not bother us as the WiFi was great with our phones

We stayed in one of the small houses for two nights in April 2026. We had two beautiful days/nights. The radiant floors were a standout. The house faces west, which huge picture windows to the west and north. During the first night, we happened to catch a quick showing of northern lights. On the first morning, we spent several hours with the provided binoculars watching a minke whale and a few dolphins. Needless to say, we were super excited. Checkin was super easy as was checkout. There's a small two-burner stove top and mini fridge for anyone who wishes to prepare meals. The hosts provide a selection of CDs, books, and games. The wifi was super strong, which helped us with remote work and streaming a movie. Silence and relaxation were the real deal here. We had no problems ascending/descending the stairs to the bedroom, especially with the provided railings. If you stay three or more nights, self-service laundry is available, which is a great feature. There's a few cool things to do in Akureyri, and it's not a far drive into the city. We highly recommend staying at this property.

This small house is comfortable and convenient. The property owner kept the roads clear following snowfall so that we could easily get to town for groceries. Even on Christmas Day he did this task as most of us laid about reading.

We loved staying here. More spacious than most properties for 2. Very warm and even has an area where we could get our clothes dry from the trip to Forest Lagoon, which is super close by the way. It had all we needed, except for a microwave oven, which I believe is a must. But we managed. Space may be a bit reduced, but that is expected in an accommodation for 2. We loved having a living area as well. Close enough to Akureyri and great spot for a stop before continuing on ring road.

Wat een geweldig uitzicht en met die grote ramen kun je zo goed de zee opkijken. Wij hebben zelfs walvissen gezien. Verder is alles aanwezig. Zelfs verrekijker. Eigenlijk jammer om maar 1 nachtje te blijven.

Petite maison tres confortable, depuis laquelle la vue sur les montages et le fjord est sublime. Idéale pour observer les aurores boréales, située a une dizaine de minute d’Akureyri, au calme dans la nature. Tres bon souvenir.
