Just the most perfect pool villa I’ve stayed in. Nestled between the beach and rice fields, quiet, private, amazingly built in old timber. Highly recommended place to stay.

Perfect villa outside the busy area of Canggu

Great place to stay. Nice quiet area with several food options within walking distance. Our villa had a private pool with a partial ocean view. It was just what we needed to end our time in Bali.

We were going to a wedding at the seseh villas so this Sejuk villa was literally 1 minute walk to there - and wedding. Rustic and homely Balinese - beautiful caring staff, breakfast was fabulous and the private pool was awesome ! Highly recommend !! Thankyou Sejuk villas

The villa is well cared for despite its age. Sadly the surrounding area is starting to have development so its best to enjoy it while there's still paddy field around it.

Retreat and not luxury and not value for money

My husband and I chose to stay at this property primarily because of its exceptional review 10/10). I would rate it more like a 7/10 and here are the reasons- Good things- Amazing staff, very polite and helpful. Great view from the sea view villa with a private pool and beach. Not so good things- not value for money. We expected it to be a luxury stay but it turned out more to be like a retreat with no reception or restaurant or any other amenities. Meals can be ordered at the villa. Breakfast is served at the villa and we got the same menu (fruits, eggs and coffee/tea) both the days we stayed. The location is far from the main city and very secluded so could to difficult to get grab/gojek. In summary, it’s not a luxury stay and for a detox retreat, it’s not value for money. You will find much better options in much less price.

Nice hotel on the beach

It was a wonderful hotel with our private pool and practically on the beach. The staff was amazing and we had a great time. The only downside was that it was a little too quiet and further away from the hustle of Bali!

Excellent villas

Great villas perfect for friends or couples, all situated on a beautifully landscaped piece of oceanfront property with direct access to a black sand beach. The staff were friendly, proactive, and responsive - we really felt like we were staying at a 5 star luxury retreat. Highly recommend Sejuk if you're looking to stay in this part of Bali.

Warm hospitality & excellent beach-front location

The rustic wood/bamboo room and outdoor shower took some getting used to, but once we got into the awesome private pool and listened to the crashing of the waves as we looked out to sea, we knew we were really going to enjoy our stay. The in-house meals were excellent and very reasonably priced, and the wonderful service from Wayan, Made and the rest of the staff was just icing on the cake! There's not much in the immediate neighbourhood, but if you're looking to get out a bit, the villa has its own car and driver available for hire. It's about 30 minutes to Seminyak and an hour to Ubud, depending on traffic. We went out for one day, and then decided that we'd rather spend the rest of our trip in the villa enjoying the pool, the view and the food (try the perkedel & the Balinese pancakes!) Oh, one more thing, there were many insects outside the room, but none inside. And we did not get a single mosquito bite. Awesome place... great value for money!
