A gorgeous cottage in a very peaceful and pretty setting. Loved the interiors, the attention to detail and the friendliness of the hosts. Highly recommended!

Our hosts were very attentive, and they generously left us some yummy snacks. The apartment was comfortable. They was a perfect place to explore the Highland countryside west of Aberdeen. I was on a family history quest. We were able to travel to Braemar Castle, Corgarff Kirk, Birse Kirk, and the Aberdeen and Northeast Scotland Family History Society shop in Aberdeen. We ate at the Boat Inn in Aboyne twice! We very much appreciated our hosts' hospitality. Thanks.

The cottage was exceptional, well equiped, very clean, nicely decorated and positioned close to Ballater for walks into town for lunch or a coffee and wander around and to visit the local attractions and nearby towns. It is also positioned well to visit the east coast and whiskey trail areas and the Cairngorm walks. Staying for a week it was so helpful having the laundry and equipment. Our stay was very enjoyable.
