It was a very pleasant stay.

Our family of 3 adults stayed at this luxury 3 bedroom apartment in Petersen Tower, Havelock City for 2 nights from 31 December 2024 until 2 January 2025. The apartment was clean, tidy and spacious. It was the perfect place to stay after we had shared 1x hotel room with 3 beds for 5 days prior.The apartment complex has access to a swimming pool, gym and cafe. It is also walking distance from Havelock City Mall where you can find restaurants, supermarket and retail shopping.We chose this property as we had friends from Australia staying with family in another tower at Havelock City. We wanted to stay nearby and this location was very convenient for our needs. We highly recommend this apartment and would stay there again without hesitation.Kenodh was an excellent host after we had our original booking from April 2024 on another platform was cancelled by the host in September 2024 after paying a substantial deposit. My confidence with accommodation platforms was shattered and I was considering reverting to hotel accommodation. Kenodh was quick to reply to my messages and gave me his personal guarantee that my booking would be guaranteed after I explained my situation and we were travelling with friends who were staying at a nearby tower in the complex.Kenodh gave clear instructions after I made my booking. We are a group of 4 couples who enjoyed a 1 week relaxing break on the Sri Lankan coast at the well presented Ingles villa. The friendly staff, headed up by Senaka the villa manger, provided us with friendly courteous service during our stay. Day trips as well as shopping outings were also organised by Senaka, as and when we requested. As part of our package, each day started with breakfast looking out over the infinity pool to the sand and ocean beyond in the downstairs communal dining area. Other meals were chosen, when required, from the reasonably priced villa menu to allow us the option of a relaxing day by the pool. The general area around Ingles is quiet with a mixture of Sri Lankan beachfront eateries and some luxury western style resorts to enjoy a cappuccino or bite to eat. The bedrooms were spacious and well equipped, and the overall ambience of the villa was comfortable, clean and relaxing. Peter, Australia.

We were lucky enough to have only two of the four residences in this beautiful development occupied. This gave our house an extra special air of exclusivity. How can anyone not love waking up to overlook beautiful gardens, an enticing pool and the sea beyond. Add to this the care of Pushpa the housekeeper and chef who ensures you enjoy the best of Sri Lanka’s food delights, whether for breakfast or an evening meal. She allows you to have a real self indulgent experience. The sea is a delight - extensive beach which is kept relatively litter free for Sri Lanka and a sandy shore that makes plunging into the waves a joy. The waves are not big enough for surfing and there can be an undertow but hey, lovely warm water to frolic in is wonderful. Whilst local transport (tuk tuk) is easy and cheap the local sights are somewhat limited and there is a dearth of the usual local restaurants. This does not detract from the joys of your “home” at the villa itself. We would have liked better bed linen and towels but this was more than offset by a house that works! The shower is excellent, the bed comfortable and the furniture in good condition. There are books and dvds and generally you are at home in this lovely property. Then there is the tennis court - it has its limitations but it is an excellent facility to work off those self inflicted extra pounds. The court is set within the flower surrounded ‘compound’ which is not just 24hr. guarded but cared for in the very best fashion. As a well travelled couple we can only recommend Villa Margareta as an excellent relaxing holiday venue.
