John and Susan who manage the property were very accommodating and worked fast to sort out a couple of small issues with the property to make our stay enjoyable. They were awesome to deal with and communicated well with me The house is awesome and has everything you need while away on a trip. The 2 level property had a heat pump downstairs and a fireplace upstairs and made it very warm and cosy during the wet and cold nights. The spa pool is large and very spacious and would accommodate comfortably 6 people. I would highly recommend this property and will definitely stay again if ever we are back up that way. Our time at Duck River was lovely. The grounds were beautiful and the cottage was neat, clean with all essential amenities. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Whole family loved our stay in this beautiful home. Was so nice we decided to grab supplies at supermarket and use the bbq on veranda to cook dinner. Short walk to centre of town and ferry. Host was fabulous - had great taste in coffee and vineyard trip recommendations too.

We had a wonderful stay, my only complaint would be that the single beds downstairs probably need new mattresses. The driveway is a bit steep but you get wonderful views.
