Truly peaceful cottage. Check in was so easy. The cottage was spotless - we really appreciated the toweling robes such a warm touch. The bathroom and kitchen were both sparkling clean. We were able to relax and take in the English country vibe. Thank you to our hosts who were so friendly and offered great advice of what to see and where to go. Thank you. We hope to be back next time we travel from Australia.

Just a great stay.

I booked this property many months ago for a pre-Christmas weekend in the Cotswolds with my family. The communication throughout with the owner and then the property manager was excellent and the listing details were totally accurate. The only issues we had were the bed mattresses were a little hard and we couldn't find instructions for recycling, but overall it was an amazing experience and highly recommended.

Property was better than photos. Extremely well equipped. We did not want for anything. Situated in the most beautiful village. Upstairs bath/shower was a little odd but no big deal. We loved our stay. You will not be disappointed. We did have some issues receiving the code to get in. Maybe email this info instead of having to ring. Our phones would not connect.

We have now stayed at Wharf Stables during our last 3 trips to the UK from Western Australia. It is impossible to describe the feeling of peace and tranquillity that descends on us the moment we arrive. The cottage is beautifully appointed and well equipped. The setting is unbeatable - from the cottage one can wave to people passing by on the canal in their narrowboats and watch a variety of wildlife including rabbits, squirrels, ducks and swans in close proximity to the cottage. This is the perfect place to unwind and relax.
